I remember the stuttering defendant, Judge Mathis had warned the plaintiff who was like a cousin or long time family friend to the defendant who stuttered so they basically had a brother sister kind of relationship. Mathis warned her two different times and she kept making fun of his stuttering problem she was really being annoying with it so she asked for it. 😂

I watched that case when it first aired. The defendant was stuttering the entire case. Seemed pretty natural.

I’m glad he was a no nonsense judge. Sometimes he did too much but it wasn’t that often… Judge Joe brown and that loud Hispanic judge from NY allowed so much disrespect… I use to say all the time.. “they need to go to judge Mathis”
