Pay attention to how he answers questions. It's never a yes or a no to a yes or no question it's always some answer that sounds vaguely like a denial but doesn't actually address what the actual question is. For instance, he was asked about whether he punched her in the arm. His answer was not, "No, I did not do that." Or "No, that did not occur." His answer was tm"This is the first time hearing about this. I never talked to him about that." And then startrd rambling about hisn phone number Attorney: " do you remember a time when you were accused of going to her job and threatening her" Defendant: " what day would that be? Me: is there more than one?

He could have kept himself out of trouble if he had done a better job of following his probation plan. He has himself to blame.
@judeiz2203Ай бұрын
In more jurisdictions if a person fails to show up for their mandatory UA's then that is ruled as a failed test. This guy is dangerous and listens to no one, especially probation.

@@dinahbrown902here is my biggest issue with his story - he says he went to a psych hospital but has no paperwork or proof. I believe, in fact I know he can sign a waiver for the court to get info about his stay. Or he could just show them his release paperwork. Which would show- ??? Addiction to opiates, alcohol and who knows what else. I really like Judge Middleton's tempered approach - no release into the wild with no plan. From experience you can't just expect change to magically happen by spending time in jail or prison. I'll bet success rates are less than 1%. I don't blame the inmate/suspect - there is nothing about being locked up that helps with any treatment plan. Especially drugs or alcohol since people can access those inside .

If he got hurt at work, he would get paid, by benefits and medical payed! If he was under the influence of something, I don't believe he would get anything. Is there proof he was injured?
@stevenseimetz3323Ай бұрын
Bingo
@drscott7359Ай бұрын
Yep under influence is an automatic get out of workers comp card! And being a loser and walking off job and saying you were injured or get fired and say you were injured all very plausible.
@judeiz2203Ай бұрын
EXACTLY!!! Just another one of his lies. Any work accident & you are sent for blood & UA's to check if you are under the influence. He would have gotten paid if he were clean at the time.
@judeiz2203Ай бұрын
I believe he was injured but that he wasn't clean at the time, therefore he received no worker's comp nor could he sue that company. This guy is dangerous 😳
@jilliansmaniotto2326Ай бұрын
workers comp isn’t automatic. there are plenty of reasons why the employer/carrier would contest it beyond just intoxication. if it’s being contested at all, he’s not going to be receiving anything. it can sometimes take a contested case up to 2+ years to go through the litigation process for benefits to be awarded or denied.
