Amanda Bynes would be one of the best actresses in Hollywood if she contenued on her trajectory. She had the funniest live action show on Nick (note, not nick at night) HANDS DOWN at the time, and she is partially responsible for the fame of Drake Bell and Josh Peck. I'm gonna say it, I truly believe that if Amanda Bynes diddn't have hollywood scumbags try to bring her down bc they were jealous she was even more personable than Jennifer Lawrence, SHE would BOTH be our Jennifer Lawrence bc she was first, more personable, and imo funnier, AND she would have been in a superhero film by now.

There's no doubt in my mind that she would whoop ass in a dramatic role bc she literally played like 20 people in the Amanda Show; Yes it was funny, but ppl forget that that is a little girl doing what comedy KINGS like Robin Williams and Eddie Murphy and Steve Martin tackled well into their careers by playing multiple roles of both sexes, those are some damn good acting chops if you ask me. Ya, some roles were better than others, but still, even the Harry Potter Kids kinda sucked in the 1st one, give em time and now they are some of the finest in the field today. I was really young when Bynes' "spin-out" went down (I'm freshly 22 born in 95) so literally all I remember from it in "real time" was hearing she tossed a bong out a window. Honestly that makes me like her more lol
