Both the defendant and her mother are living in a fantasy land where they can do/not do whatever they want with no reckoning. How rich that the woman asked the judge, 'Why are you doing this?'. Ignoring completely her actions and choices one by one brought her to that point. Her mother takes no accountability for parenting/enabling a child. Her daughter blames everyone and does not have remorse b/c she does not embrace her role in the violence towards the children or to the grandfather. Doubt prison term will change her perspective.

It’s heartbreaking to watch people going to jail especially when children are involved 😢 but jail does save lives !!! I have 3 grown daughters and one was on drugs I did everything in my power to beg her buy her bribe her to do right to leave the drugs alone I was relieved very much so when my daughter went to jail I thanked God he’s given her another chance and myself another day to see her again 🙌🙏❤️ Instead of crying because she is sad she should be crying because she has children that need her and these drugs nowadays mean to take your very life !!!!! She has another chance ❤ she needs to get busy on herself she’s pretty girl but she’s going nowhere and before she knows it she will be 55-65 years old and did nothing with her life that’s IF she’s lucky enough to live through the drug use !!!!!!! Praying God blesses both sides of the families with eyes that see and ears that hear 🙏🙌❤️🥹

Yeah, her mother is in denial and is a huge enabler of her daughter's lunacy. The daughter really needs some long cell time to help her with her violent tendencies. There are many people with drug problems who have never been violent. So that's no excuse. And the fact that she abuses her children, I have not one iota of pity for her. She's not sorry. I'm so sick of everyone saying the defendants in these court hearings have been abused and have something wrong with them to minimize what the defendant did to break the law. You know, I'm mentally ill. I take my meds, but I don't go to counseling because it doesn't do shit for me. Not everyone is meant to be in counseling. Some people need it, some people don't. But, I have been in trouble with the law quite a few times as an adult. Each time I went to court, I automatically pleaded guilty, because I did commit the crime. Not once have I ever told the judge "It's because I'm bipolar", because even without meds, I know right from wrong. Luckily I do take my meds daily. Either way, my point is... These motherfuckers need to QUIT using mental illness as their defense, they don't have nothing wrong with them, they're just talkin' shit to get out of facing the consequences fully. Oh, I'll just convince the judge that there's something wrong with me, so that the judge will go easy on me. Fuck that shit. If a non-mentally ill person murders someone, they get the maximum sentence usually. They don't get a slap on the wrist or a "you poor thing, I'm gonna let you go cause you came from a broken home". So, why should a mentally ill person not have to face up to the same consequences? Stop using the mental illness card. Your daughter isn't mental, she's just someone who chooses not to obey the law. That's on her. God damn... Let your daughter take full accountability for her actions. Having a mental problem doesn't excuse any criminal behavior. Just an excuse to get out of doing time.
