It has been a month and the investigators are only now planning to look into the area where her phone last pinged. Come on, that area should have been one of the first places to look. The project manager on this investigation needs to step up on their organizational skills. Do they have a checklist on all things they need to cover? Have they checked off all of them or have a few slipped through the cracks? More organization is needed.

That sweet baby girl is a US citizen and has all the protections that go with that. Including but not limited to no forced arranged marriages as well as female genitalia mutation rights. I pray that innocent child is able to stay in the U.S.

Great respect to the legal system and investigation here. No way any perpetrator will get by or go unpunished. Knowing how investigation works, of course it is a serious homicide, the case need to prove beyond reasonable doubt so the investigation takes time. Justice to Mamata.

I wish all these media people would pronounce Mamta's full name correctly. I understand it is a difficult name for Americans to say. However, as a respect to the victim, it would have been a nice gesture to learn to say her name the correctly. Just ask any member of Nepalese community.

Her mom and brother are in the US as of two days ago and reunited with baby Neema. Right now they are very distraught and we have to respect their privacy. When they are ready I am sure they will come out.
