I live in the UK we don't haven't had the death penalty since the 1960s and yet we still have a far lower murder rate than the USA so the death penalty clearly isn't a deterant, especially if the killer is a psychopath like this guy. The problem in the USA is everyone is given easy access to firearms, something we don't allow, and guess what ? we don't think it's an infringement of our civil rights .

@@rockon8174 The Hebrew word _ratzah_ (murder) is conceptually different from _harag_ (killing). The 6th Commandment "Do not murder" (ratzah) means do not kill out of anger, lust, greed, hatred, etc. Killing (harag) is permissible in limited circumstance: war, capital punishment, self-defense, revenge, etc. The King James translation of "thou shalt not kill" has always been a faulty transliteration that obscures the original message of the text. @first_to_lett_a_rhymme_flow_ Thanks for asking. He's strong but that much time can break anyone. He's fighting to get his freedom but it's not easy especially in the state of PA. When you're convicted of a murder in this state they get everyday of the rest of your life. Doesn't matter if you pulled the trigger or unknowingly met up with the killer right after he did the crime. Everybody is guilty and gets the same punishment.

@@vulture3874 Pennsylvania. This is a common law state that rules by the old standard. If you commit or are a party too or in the vicinity of someone who killed another person, you and everyone else presumably involved get the same charge. Murder 1.
