The FIRST TIME I had to pick up my baby at a stranger's home(not where she was supposed to be) is the LAST time I entrusted my baby with that daycare provider. My baby isn't to be juggled between providers, depending upon how busy/how many children they took in.

@@purplelove3666 leniency comes with benefit of the doubt. We send kids to school and expect things to be ok. If you’re kid is being bullied, 9/10 you’re not switching schools. In this case, since this is a daycare case, was the place clean? Sketchy? Was this location mentioned anywhere in any paperwork that I signed before handing my kid over? Keep in mind, the plaintiff said they don’t pick the kid up on a consistent time, so there could be an agenda that the daycare had. (Activities, trips between the two locations). 17 times they had to correct their mistake and you’re about my 3 strike rule? 17 times between 2 months might I add… so they paid $460 TWICE! Thanks for the advice but I will stick to my mindset.

If it weren’t for the fact that they left their daughter in the defendant’s care for so long, I’d be totally against the judge’s insinuation that them juggling the baby around for ratio was okay. You can’t just surreptitiously bring my child to a different home I’ve never seen with people I’ve never met, especially when you never mentioned anything about having a second facility and sometimes moving children to balance out ratio. You shouldn’t even be moving the CHILDREN to balance ratio, you should be moving the staff. That’s what we did when I was in child care. And it happened very rarely, usually only on field trip days or when someone called out, because we knew how to not go over ratio. It’s called counting.
