I don't think she is right at all. She assumed it is about money for him. He isn't interested in the money - he is angry about what they said about his character and painting him as some kind of horrible person, and preventing him from seeing his mother that he had been caring for. If it was about money, he would have led off with that. Instead he lead off with "they are lying about me and lying about my mother saying she is afraid of me and doesn't want to see me". Imagine being accused of abusing your own mother.. he was pissed

There is definitely something weird going on here, the defendant clearly lied about how much money her Mum had given her. I can only assume because if the truth was out they'd be in trouble for defrauding the government. In the UK you can't just give away your assets and then claim for the cost of a care or nursing home to be paid for. I think the brother is genuinely upset at how his Mum is now living but is going about it in the wrong way and alienating everyone in the process.

JJ told him how to pursue it legally but he chooses to keep ranting instead. Probably because he knows he’ll never win in court cos he has no proof. And he doesn’t want custody of his mom, he just wants the money. So he’ll keep ranting and shouting even though he has no legal right to that money or to sue for it.

Follow the money. The old lady netted 150 from the sale of the home. No way with that money she’s qualifying for Medicaid. They had to get rid of that cash in a short period of time. When you apply for Medicaid the government used to go back 7 years searching for assets. Not sure if seven is still the number but it was about it ten years ago.
