When your ambitions outrun reality....I had a similar experience lol. Everyone thinks its just going to be so easy when they're first starting out, not realising that besides the other thousand businesses trying to get their foot in the door, theres another hundred problems that can go wrong within your own business. Not that I'd discourage people from trying, but the odds of success are just so low, especially for younger people - unless it's something truly groundbreaking, which is probably harder to come by these days.
@julietteoscaralphanovember2223 Жыл бұрын
I started a candle company but it grew too fast and I wasn't prepared for it and I ended up shutting it down. I wanted it as something to do but couldn't fill all the orders I received. It was crazy. I just originally wanted to sell at craft fairs, etc but it got too big too fast and I'm not a business person so I couldn't continue.

The best way to describe such a business to Judge Judy is just say "online marketing". That's all she'll understand. She doesn't get social media lol
@charliedays Жыл бұрын
Well, the average person doesn't get that technical with language. He says he made it easier to explain to JJ, but it was all the opposite. That's one of the first things you learn in data science: Assume people don't know anything of what you're talking about. That means being as simplistic as possible because no one understands complexity.🤦♂️
@PanoramicView-o5p3 ай бұрын
No judge Judy just didn’t wanna bother with understanding what it was you can say social media management I’m like I’m sure judge. Judy is on Facebook if he says social media management and he manages businesses on their social media is so easy to understand judge Judy just don’t want to listen and comprehend what they’re saying, even my 75 year old grandmother knows what social media management is because I’m going to school. I talk about it to her all the time and she knows exactly what I’m talking about because she uses Facebook and Instagram.

Of course you can. Part of my job duties at the companies I have worked for includes social media manager. Depending on the number of platforms and the types of platforms, it can be very time consuming to do effectively. This can be taxing especially when you have other duties so that’s why some companies contract someone. As a SMM usually you aren’t just behind a computer the whole time because you need to go shoot photos and videos which need to edited, graphics need to be built, doing interviews, writing scripts and so on. You have to constantly generate content to feed the beast. Not to mention respond to posts and DMs.
