We have ones where say it's a bicycle or laptop and it has a geo tag on it so the victim knows where it is and the police just say here's your crime number call the insurance company. When they could get in their car and go and retrieve it. Then they wonder why people try to get their own property back. Always going to insurance just lets the thieves get away with it.

The contractor said he didn't attend the property again until he met with the plaintiff on the morning of the 18th, so he couldn't have stolen the goods. Then there's the witness who placed him at the property early in the morning of the 18th and he remembers it because they knocked on his door and asked him to move his car as it was blocking the garage door. So now he's proved the contractor is lying which destroys all his credibility, and he has a good reason to remember the date and time it happened because they knocked on his door. There was only a small window of less than 24 hours for those goods to go missing. I doubt they loaded the goods in the street, most likely a small truck was driven into the garage and the 3 men filled it and then left. It's pretty obvious the contractor stole the items, he barely bothered to defend himself.
