@@ФАКДЕМОКРАТ It’s not the party that matters. All politicians are greedy evil bastards. They take bribes from pharmaceutical, oil companies, and other rich businesses to push their agenda. There are plenty of documentation to show that people in each party has committed voter fraud, it’s not fair to just blame one party when people from each party does it. Personally I think since the politicians forget they work for the people we should fire them all and start from scratch. It’s time we stop the corruption and do what’s best for the people and the country, not just the millionaires and billionaires. That’s just my feeling though. But until we get rid of those corrupt bastards, they will continue to make the middle and lower classes suffer while the millionaires and billionaires get a free ride.

Obviously not all foster parents, but I think the *system* first and foremost rewards this kind of disgusting behavior. I was fostered for a year before being adopted and never went through the being abused for money, but I strongly believe the foster system could make changes to help prevent this kind of behavior. But that won't happen because there's so much money in foster care and the foster homes would never support it. It's a fucking shame.
@casandras7391
@casandras7391 2 жыл бұрын
“obviously not all foster parents” clearly you are not aware of who is in the system. i have been in a total of 8 homes in a span of 4 years i did in the system. all of those homes were neglectful and some were abusive. i knew I was being used for money. I had to record and keep evidence as to why they were neglectful & abusive to show to the courts due to them claiming that i was a liar, and making false reports that are kept on record. It’s easy to believe a foster child is a liar and a bad kid, it’s apart of the stereotype I’m sure many of you have had. 8 homes, in total, 16 people decided to take advantage of vulnerable children by working as foster parents. i worked as a state-wide secretary to represent foster children and each child i met had a story about how they were neglected by a foster parent and/or group home. Statistically speaking, 60% of all children who age out of the system end up homeless. That would not happen if that 60% had loving foster parents. And again, based on research, if a child spends a week in the foster system- they are more than likely to develop PTSD more so than a Vietnam veteran. These are real statistics. It would not happen if those who worked in the system truly cared and had compassion for children who have been made victims of their own birth parents and families. You speak in ignorance & privilege, please acknowledge that.

I just have to say this because this makes me so mad. These two ladies are wretched and take advantage of troubled kids because it brings them a check. I actually lived up the street from a family who had 3 biological children and would take in foster children, I wish I remember how many. They were the most kind, loving people, and believe it or not, they took the money they would get from the state and donated it to food banks and homeless shelters and other charities. I remember the father saying at a neighborhood event that the state would not allow them to refuse the money, or they would have, but they wanted to provide a loving, stable home for kids who need one for as long as they had them. I always remembered that and that family made me want to be a foster parent too because of it. Then I see people like this and it fills me with rage.
