So sad when people accept money and then say, "she has the money to spare, I don't need to repay her". If you can't work for the rest of your life, a million dollars is not as much as you think. If the Plaintiff has 30 years left(to live), she really doesn't have a great deal of money. Less than 35k a year. And that's if the Plaintiff didn't make any large purchase to begin with after receiving the settlement. The daughter is selfish AF. EDIT TO ADD: Part 3 reveals all😂.

A certified financial advisor can invest to stretch that money for much longer, allowing a person to live primarily off the principal. If Mom got even 5% interest on her money, she would have $50,000 per year plus her widow's pension and the million dollars would still be there her whole life, earning more.

actually if the person is smart, you can do alot with a million... invest it wisely so you can live comfortably... but even dumbasses when they win the lottery, they blow the money within the year and there back to square one.....investing yea is the only way, otherwise, yes, you cant do much with it with this screwed up high ass inflation anymore....
