If it wasn't for Cindy calling 911 because her granddaughter was missing, Casey would have never called 911 because she didn't care that her daughter was missing. The fact that she even spoke to the 911 dispatcher telling her that she was using other resources to find her daughter, is the worst lie she could have ever came up with. Casey wasn't even going to say anything to her parents or the police about the fact that her daughter was missing, but she wasn't missing, she was dead. You don't wait 31 days to call the police, but fact is her mother called the police but not Casey. She wasn't even thinking about her daughter, that's because she had killed her and she doesn't have any care in the world for her. She was more concerned about getting into contact with her boyfriend. That's messed up that she could have done something to her own child and even have any emotions that she even loved her daughter. She is now saying that her father molested her and making money off of her daughters death, makes me sick to my stomach. If any of my children have gone missing I would have been losing my mind and I would have been searching everywhere to find my child but thank God that they never went missing or have gotten kidnapped. I believe that she murdered her daughter and she is guilty for killing her!

I think they knew she was guilty then but we're told to follow the guidelines of proof and with what they had they couldn't absolutely prove that Casey murdered her. There are other scenarios in which Casey may have lied to police about what happened to her daughter. Maybe to protect a boyfriend. Really you could come up with any story to fill in the blanks and without proof otherwise their hands are really supposed to be tied on that. Of course we know she did it. But without video, dna, some kind of absolute proof technically they did the right thing
