Holy shit, right? When he launched into it at that tempo, in that echo-y acoustic, I thought there is no way those ornaments are gonna work, but . . . OMG . . . not only did he get them all in, they were clear and articulated, even in the acoustic! - but mindblowingly they had shape and movement and poise . . . I have chills.

What makes this man one of the greatest, is that out of all players, he probably holds on to the notes the longest....the king of sustain absolutely....absolutely brilliant tone production....just a genius

How it should be played. John Williams upset the classical fraternity by playing this piece fast. It's a happy and lively intro and should be played as such. Great playing.

More than a few deviations from Fukada's transcription, both in fingering and notes. Still it's pretty close.
