I've reached the title track - and so far it's one of the best albums I've ever heard. I'm 63, I hope the album will heal you as much as it's healing me right now!

Listening halfway through this record, and I can't stop wondering how another album would sound if Judith Hill and Roger Waters worked together. If for no other reasons, he is in need of a great guitarist on his records...

I don't know, JJ Grey & Mofro's 'Olustee' I still have as my frontrunner there (quite possibly the best studio effort they ever came up with). Hill's latest release is certainly in the mix, though 🤔. Man, she just doesn't put out bad music at all. PROPS! 👍

This album at the very least should earn Judith a couple Grammy nods for her efforts (IF the RIAA is still paying attention to what the real artists out there have been doing lately, that is 🙄😏). Still prefer her previous one ('Baby, I'm Hollywood!') for overall consistency, but not by much. 'Letters From A Black Widow' might honestly be her most ambitious studio project so far with the amount of creatively bold risks she ended up taking on this one and I truly thank her from the bottom of my very soul for it! There was a time when such musical experimentation was widely encouraged here in the States, but now it seems like homogenized commercial mediocrity is the name of the game as far as the current industry goes. Oh well, long as they're still artists around like Judith that don't mind going against the grain to push their legacies forward I can breathe a little easier in the end... 😮💨😌👍
