How sad what happened to the Jewish people in Europe. I am so grateful she and her family survived. I am sure she.lost many friends and possibly other family members.She still had to have those horrible memories.I am so glad she found a great.supporting husband who encouraged her to start her business.I warched a documentary about a holocaust survivor who made these beautiful bags or purses and it must be the same lady.I will research and see if it is the same lady.I have warched many documentaries on people who survived.It was hard to watch and sometimes I had to shut it off for awhile just to help with anxiety because they were so painful. This can never ever happen again. .

I’d love to afford one of her bags, but I am afraid they are too pricey. Looking at and admiring them costs nothing. I am so happy this artistic woman & her family were able to escape the horrors of WWII and eventually flourish in the U.S.!
