The second print looks like greener plant with more moisture. That might have influenced the outcome too

did you fix the images afterwards?
@judithmonroeart Жыл бұрын
Not here. Fixing will somewhat change the images but it will make them stable.

do you need black and white photographic paper? or any paper works?
@judithmonroeart4 жыл бұрын
You need light sensitive photographic paper, black and white or color paper will both work. :)

Is there no procedure with lumen prints after it has been exposed outside?
@judithmonroeart2 жыл бұрын
Nothing needed afterward, just protecting it from UV light - and even then they will shift a bit, they are an ephemeral art form by nature. Fixing will shift the tonal values, but it will stabilize the image as well.

@@judithmonroeart So once it is fixed ( if one wishes to do so) then it can last as long as say a - a cyanotype?
@judithmonroeart2 жыл бұрын
@@lisabakke9280 Yes, or any other silver gelatin print. :)
@judithmonroeart2 жыл бұрын
@@lisabakke9280 Once a silver gelatin print (which this would be) is properly fixed, it will last quite a long time. Many years, at least. :)

what time of day do you recommend setting your paper out?
@judithmonroeart3 жыл бұрын
It depends on when the sun hits the spot you can set it out it. Some folks set theirs out for nearly the whole day. Watch when the sun hits the places you have available. Midday, with the sun coming straight down will give you the shortest exposure times. :)
