Nice video‼︎👏🇯🇵 Unlike the Fujiwara of the past, his judo was very aggressive. In my opinion, Boltaboev was not able to apply any effective techniques that could break Fujiwara. Having lost twice in the past, he had studied it well and was able to completely exploit Boltaboev attacks.🇺🇿 It's all about hard work. Excellent‼︎ ⚔🇬🇪 Judging from the frustrated look on his face when Grigalashvili scored a waza-ari in the final, I think he wanted to win without giving up any points to Grigalashvili like Sasaki did last time. I hope Fujiwara will continue to do his best with his natural defensive skills and his evolved aggressive judo🔥🔥

Nice one! Apt analysis. Think griga is still a top contender, I mean final of two Paris grand slams in 81kg, that is badass. And he is so much fun to watch

I watched the finals live and Grigalashvili's wazari was pretty nuts. Super impressive on-the-fly adaptation.

I agree. I however can understand UZB strategy of not getting close. Fujiwara is very good at close quarters like he showed in the final.

well, whats going to happen to boltaboev. ura nage? unlikely. tani otoshi? no. the two best counters against that strategy are te guruma and a rollover. rollover doesnt score anymore and te guruma is banned. pretty much the only risk that attack has is ne waza.

It is interesting how the Japanese are getting better at defense!

First throw in final, only a wazari?

I was wondering too. To me it couldn't be less than Ippon.
