Workshop tutor Mike playing Renbourn classic, Judy. The first Renbourn piece heard by many people - Solo album 1, side 1, track 1. It's 8 years today since we sadly lost John but his music lives on.

Many years ago in Hong Kong at the folks festival, I made an 'aside' one guitar 'God', "Why is it you guys are so good compared to use relatively gifted amateurs?" He said, "It is our living".

When I was in my early 20s I trascribed this from a musical score into tableture and laboriously learnt the first part. This is typically of me, don't start learning a simple 2 chord strumming song, go straight in at the deep end. This is probably why I never managed to master the guitar like you obviously have 😪

Yep, well LS-TA, with just a touch of reverb recorded acoustically with a pair of Rode NT5 mics.

@@AdamBen-Nun Cool. The one I got needed setting up (by a luthier) which made it more suitable for fingerstyle playing. The strings are Ernie Ball Earthwood Acoustic Guitar Strings 80/20 Light - 11-52 Gauge. hope the guitar works out for you.
