The triangle to me, represents a natural woman’s pubic mound, and almost all the wonderful plates are variations on a stylized labia, the source of all life, the genesis of all creation. Each plate of course has a famous woman and the art piece is landmark in the celebration of female energy and creation power. Depicted as a celebration feast, long overdue, feminine energy is not depicted as a masculinized Statue of liberty, or greek goddess, a body - object of sex from a man’s point of view, but instead, an intimate look at the cradle of being and creation.
