"Don... what do you think you are?" I think it was significant that they chose her to be the one to tell him this. And reaffirm it and it to be her that he is so surprised by it. I do think romance is continued to be implied down the line for them

You see I think we as don/Judy shippers feel and hope that this is what is implied but people who don't ship them say that the scene was put in order to make it clear, that Judy sees Don as a brother/uncle, not a love interest. This is why I'm so disappointed that they didn't put a follow-up scene showing that they have feelings for each other or at least that they are attracted to each other! If nothing else, it would put an end to the whole debate and we would be sure that the writers didn't waste such amazing chemistry between Taylor and Ignacio. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for what we got, but after waiting for more than 3 yrs my heart yearns for what we could've gotten if the writers were brave enough to go romantic with Don/Judy.

Wouldn't it be awesome if we got a Lost in Space movie with this cast so we would have Will and his Robot exploring new worlds, Don and Judy admitting they like each other and having more scenes together, Judy and Grant spending time getting to know each other, the Robinsons having lots of family moments and new exciting adventures for Penny to write about. I wish their stories didn't have to end!

Love this. Honestly, it was such a waste that they never put them together. I know why they didn't. It's clear in season one they were headed that way. Heck, they kept having him call her princess. But then a lot of people on social media got angry about the age difference, so they decided to not go that way. That's why they don't share many scenes in season 2 or 3. Later he just started calling her Judy like everyone else. It was such a waste of good chemistry!!

If this had been made before social media we definitely would have gotten Don/Judy. You're also right in that they didn't address his age. This is one of the ships that I REALLY think was such a missed opportunity. I think it would have even helped with ratings.

I agree with everything you say 💯 They had so much chemistry even in the few scenes they shared together. In the show the age difference is supposed to be 6-8 yrs & in real life the actors are 12 yrs apart. Couples with this age difference do exist in real life & onscreen in many shows/ movies. I dnt understand why the trolls made such a fuss & why the writers gave into the trolls. They should have just given us a hint at the end of the series that they do get eventually together like they are supposed to. Wasted potential!

This mini series was my absolutely favorite Lost in Space reboot. All the characters were interesting and I cared what happened to them. Smith included. I even understood SAR's point of view. (Being sentient he hated being a slave.)
