Judy Murray 'goes dark' after escalating Emma Raducanu storm with second loaded statement

Under-fire Judy Murray has closed ranks by making her X account private in the wake of the loaded tweet she served up straight towards Emma Raducanu.
The revered Scottish coach was left gutted after son Andy was denied a Wimbledon swansong when the 2021 US Open champion pulled out of their planned mixed doubles match at SW19 citing wrist soreness. Fans were left gutted after being denied the chance to watch Murray one last time, however, that was only half the story as mum Judy replied to a tweet ruing Raducanu's pullout by stunned commentator Marcus Buckland by stating: "Yes, astonishing."

Winning a Grand Slam title is not easy. Since the professional era began in 1968, only 55 women have managed to win one. That is not many when you consider there are over 10 Thousand ranked on the WTA. Emma can be satisfied to have already won a Major in her young career and you know your doing yourself no favours to say she will never win another as you cant know that and obvious from such a ludicrous statement that you just dont want her too. Why such malice ?.

The announcement for mixed doubles came out before he lost in men’s doubles. She could have said no from the beginning and maybe AM would have looked for another one or just give up entirely. Tbh it's both their fault. In the circumstances Andy was stupid enough to ask Emma to play and Emma should never have accepted, or at least say she can't promise to play 100% irrespective of appearing to feel fine when she was asked. Then if she does pull out, it's not such a big deal. Needless to say, ,they both got what they deserved lol.
