People don’t understand Max B music relationship with Jim. Max wrote for Jim for 1 year and it was basically to give Max an extra job to make money. A lot of music bosses give the people they sign extra jobs to write music, Kanye did it with Big Sean & Pusha, Diddy did it with all his rappers, Birdman did it with Juvie & Wayne. Jim had hits before & after Max, he never needed him.

I honestly believe Mase's Harlem World inspired the Dipset sound. It was very different from the other same songs. Same way Bone Thugs innovate the singing rapping song. Rap singing about street life. I give Bone and Mase props. Bone made it ok to sing your rap verses. Mase living in Harlem brought a different fashion to the scene. Unfortunately, Mase and Bone were treated unfairly extremely underpaid by their record label
