Damn this song hits. I have been sober from percs since march 3rd 2020when I went to rehab but pretty much after 6 months started drinking heavy. It was controlable for a long time and I got my shit together for a while. Made 90k selling cars in 2022 and finally got married to my wife that i met in 2017 on March 9th who I almost lost due to my addiction and ODing a few times when she didn’t mess with that stuff… I’m 29 now. Decided to take a leap selling semi trucks at the beginning of 2023 w/ a much better work to life balance. About 30 ago I just got fired from that job for under preforming. All I want to do right now is fall back into my old ways… stay strong folks..

9 months sober from alcohol today. Went from drinking 30 beers or 25 shots a day for 15+ years and not feeling a thing to playing semi pro hockey since I started playing again in June at 33yo. I was reborn on March 8th, 2023 after cutting back and having DT’s for weeks and finally a seizure just 2 hours after my last drink. If I can do it so can anyone of you I promise and guarantee that. It we’ll be the best decision of your life. Just do it sooner than later. Wasting that 15 years not playing hockey and instead drinking and partying all day everyday is the biggest regret in life.
