So my theory is that the Commission is capable of 'enhancing' people. I mean we have A.J. who is a fish person. Hazel definitely seemed stronger than he should have been. Cha Cha seemed to not feel pain, or healed fairly quickly. Plus The Handler was supposed to have been blown up by a grenade in season 1, but shows up with a scar on her chin, then she survives a bullet to the head. Obviously she has been altered in some way. Plus in season 1, she talked about the Commission creating a new age appropriate body for Five. So I'm not sure how exactly, but the Commission seems capable of altering people pretty drastically.

Yeah, in the comics they make Five undergo surgery so different parts of his body is made of different deceased serial killers

I love how we as the audience will yell at Allison everytime she doesn't use her powers when she could have. I initially did and while frustrating, I realize that for her she had abused it in the first season (think about the situation with her Husband and Daughter). So I think that it became sort of like an addiction and she is painfully aware of the consequences that come about when she does rumor someone as it is essentially a manipulation. I think she will come to terms on the use though, a "for the right reasons" kind of effect.

She abused it her whole life. It had become a crutch and got to the point where she couldn't tell what was real. I mean, look how easily she'd used it on her daughter when her daughter wasn't even close to having a tantrum. The next time she tried to use it, she got her throat cut just after realizing her father used her in one of his child abuse schemes. It's completely understandable that she doesn't want to rely on it. I think people are too hard on most of the Hargreeves. They're all child abuse survivors trying to learn how to have normal relationships with each other and with other people.

That is why I want there to be more interactions between Allison and Klaus. If anyone will get the whole being addicted thing, it would be him, and I think it'd be nice for Allison to connect with someone else who struggled with addiction.

The story you were talking about with the guy with the railway spike through his skull was Phineas Gage, while he was fine afterwards, he was not the same, the area of his brain that had been hit caused his doctors to remove half of his entire brain, meaning he, while remembering his entire life, ended up losing the part of his brain that is responsible for threat assessment, he afterwards became a daredevil with no concern over his safety or anyone else's. He couldn't worry and acted impulsively and rudely. His friends said he no longer was the same person after his accident. (I learned about him in my Psychology Class) Also if you think about it Vanya had never been in a relationship, she never got to experience who she would like to be with, men or women, so she tried with Leonard, She could be Bi for all we know, Klaus is Bi. (I've seen the entire show, I know the answers, but they don't so I'm not going to say anything)

And when she fell from the portal, she hit her head pretty hard. Also, three hits to the head like that is gonna affect you.

Diego didn’t lose as much as he froze because he was face to face with his father. If you rewatch the scene of Reginald pulling the knife out of Diego, he twisted it as he turned it out, which will cause more damage. The Handler makes a comment about having a metal plate in her head. That being said, it would have still cause damage, plus she was blown up. As for Allison, she struggled through season one because she abused her power and lost her family. The next time she tried to use her power, Vanya slit her throat. She then ends up in 1960s Texas, still injured, and unable to speak. She is trying to live as a regular person and not rely on her power for everyday situations. The show gets better as it goes on. The second half of the season is awesome. In season one, the Handler said the apocalypse wasn’t the end of everything, just the end of something. That makes me think there is more out there than they know. Maybe AJ is from a different world or dimension. Maybe a different timeline or from thousands of years in the future.

I haven't read the comics yet, but I believe AJ (the fish) was always the Handler in the comics.

I don't know what the limit to Allisons power will be on the show. But apparently in the comics she can alter reality if she chooses to do so. Also AJ the fish head man was the handler in the comics.

Alison's power is insanely powerful and useful but has also cost her so much, so i dont get how people dont understand why she doesnt use it every chance she gets
