I thought that after the McDonald's All-American snub, it would be the fire that energized Mikey to go win a section and/or state championship. He's a great scorer and playmaker but gives little effort on defense and being a leader for his team. Agree or disagree, I believe him moving to NC was the worst decision he could have made, as he didn't really do anything while he was there, he reacted too fast when CIF postponed the 2020-21 season. I missed when Mikey was a freshman, he played with more passion and played to win, but hopefully he can regain that fire in Memphis. Time really does fly, I first watched him from "Fear Nothing" from Overtime, and despite the ups and downs I wish him the best at the next level.

If you ask me you're a hundred percent right. About the lackluster way that Mikey Williams and j.j. Taylor played all Season. They've been playing like that in every game if you want the truth, there was a many teams that they could have beat without a problem but they wasn't playing defense. JJ was not trying to block shots or grab rebounds. I've been saying it all season I'm glad somebody else sees it the way that I do. And this is not hate I've always been a fanof Mikey. I also was happy when JJ came on board i saw that as some much needed help for the team. Because Mikey couldn't do it alone. No disrespect to the rest of the team because they played their hearts out every game. But I truly thought that after they got snubbed for that McDonald's All-American game that they was going to come out with a big chip on their shoulder and just wreck everyone. But they failed to do that they acted like that snub took the wind out of their sails I just hope they do better next year. I am for ever a fan of Mikey and JJ.

To keep it a stack etiwanda was supposed to blow out San Ysidro… I would have loved to see mikey vs bronny today but had Sierra Canyon taken care of business in their league games they wouldn’t have been in the D1 braxket they would have been in the open brack with the better teams in CA… The D1 bracket is cool but the open bracket is where the elite teams are competing in… could have seen mikey vs bronny if bronny and amari Bailey didn’t dodge the smoke last year….. they would have demolished Mikey’s team anyways but mikey was destined to put them on his highlight reel

When you take a look at Sierra Canyons last few years look how their stars are doing in the league now Amari Baly (top 10 in hs) - Struggled for a while at UCLA projected and now projected as a 2nd rd pick Brandon Boston (top 10 IN HS) Struggled in college ( bench warmerfor teh clippers) Ziare Williams (top 10 in HS)- Struggled at stanford and now Sporadically plays on the grizzlies KJ Martin- Doing good for the rockets this season but if were having this convo last season we'd say he was underperforming Scottie Pippen Jr- Gleague player every now and a gain gets called up to a lakers game Marvin Bagley- Did well for himself but now is somewhat of a let down... going to these big name private/prep schools gives ( nba talent level "role players" the perception of being nba level superstars when the history of these programs generally show that they wont be "that dude" at the next level.) * at least that's the results of Sierra Canyon so far.
