Works very well. Have to have the banana nearly completely frozen otherwise it's comes out as goo. This is a masticating juicer though it's not a cold press juicer that's a completely different process where fruit is literally pressed between two perforated sides.

Hi, was that a frozen banana? In the manual it says not to use frozen fruit, but to make a sorbet, surely it´s with frozen fruit? Thanks for explaining!

I'm saving up to buy this juicer. My current juicer (JuicePro) has two strainers - for less and more pulp, says nothing about homogenising or whether you can make ice cream with it. Does that mean I have to wait til I buy Jason's juicer or I can use mine? Thanks

maybe in the future a friendly kid recipe starting with a vegetable juice , and mixing the result with some red fruit (strawber, bluebery , mango ...) and honey and ice in a vitamix on ice cream mode of course

Also the only difference between the sorbet process and ice cream process is that, for ice cream pulp a frozen banana, everything else strawberries etc its a sorbet. 😂 It does work though.

I’m willing to give this a try, because it’s so simple, but banana ice cream sounds kind of awful to me. I know everyone raves about the one ingredient ice cream, but I can’t imagine it tasting good, despite liking bananas.

banana and rasberrys really confuses people so please have extra to prove you have only use banana and berries trust me they will not believe you its not ice cream, I call it nice cream hahah sooooo yummy but ummm im guity on using 2 bananas just for me but I would have skipped a juice or a meal as when I have my berry ripple nice cream its "my pig out treat" yep I did say pig out cos you feel like you have broken every rule fallen of the wagon big style" its that good, and we eat with our eyes so if it looks like ice cream, feels like ice cream, ice cold like ice cream then you brain goes "whoopy we having ice cream tonight with crap telly" pig out and time out on the sofa...…… eating banana and berry ……. who needs the real crap or crisps, chocolate when you can have this, if you have a machine that makes it guy " GO AND MAKE IT ITS SOOOOOO GOOD "

You can use any frozen berry / soft fruits to make delicious sorbets 🙂. The banana just gives a delicious creaminess that is more like ice cream. It really is delicious! Amy@JuicyHQ

Making ice cream, the juicer keeps 90% of the fruit between pieces, and then 20 min cleaning and removing all the wasted fruit from the machine ☹️

Hmm. Have you put the homogenizing unit in the cold press? I find that bananas are the best fruit to use for making ice cream and always get a big yield from the fruit I put in .. I am not sure why this happened for you sorry 🤷‍♀ Amy@JuicyHQ

Eating a fresh banana is easier and healthier than eating it as sorbet. Banana sorbet doesn't taste good and preparing it and then washing your slow juicer and utensils will take your time so it doesn't worth it. They just have commercial purposes
