Would you please review nama & hurom Juicer? Thank you🙏
@JuiceFeaster
@JuiceFeaster Жыл бұрын
@@smile85riana Hello! I haven’t formally reviewed the Hurom H400 yet, however, here are a few things that would give me concern looking at its design: 1. The hopper is smaller thus not as convenient and fast as the J2’s hopper. 2. It’s about an 1.5 inches taller than the J2 so it won’t slide under the cabinets on most standard counter-to-cabinet base heights. Not a big deal, but just nice for it to fit under cabinets on countertops. 3. I’m not a fan of the no filter screen style that they are using. They’re reason for it is it’s easier to clean than a screen. But in my experience the style they are using leaves A LOT of pulp in the juice. It’s kindof a deal breaker for me. It’s really too close to a smoothie for me. I juice for the the least amount of pulp for digestibility, nutrient bioavailability, low metabolic stress so this style doesn’t work for me. To strain it out after making the juice only lowers the juice yield. 4. I’m concerned about their pulp outlet. Past huroms I’ve tested clog excessively at the pulp outlet chute. This design looks the same and I fear it will clog too much compared to the J2’s design Also, 90 RPMs on their speed vs 50 on the j2 so more prone to oxidize the juice at higher speeds Also only 10 years warranty on their motor vs 15 on the Nama The Nama J2 handles greens well too. I routinely stuff the chamber full of parsley, cilantro, celery and lemon with the peel for my fave green-green juice and it just gobbles it up. Those are my thoughts on the H400. Honestly, I’d recommend the Nama J2 over it. If you do decide on the J2, I have a code for it. My code is: JUICEJ210 and you can use it here: geni.us/NamaJ2 Let me know if you have any other questions!

My Nama arrived August 8th 2024 and IMMEDIATELY used it and was disappointed because it didn't get as much juice from the veggies as my old school juicer did and I was going to send it back the next day for a refund. I didn't see a big difference BUT my friend suggested that I try again with fresher veggies, so the next morning I went to the grocery store and bought new veggies and only washed the ones I was going to juice right then and OMG, this thing is AMAZING. The trick is to only wash the veggies that you intend to use right then because they will start dehydrating sooner and you won't get no where near as much juice. I used the same amt of veggies that I normally do with my other juicer and I got 1/4 more than normal. The pulp IS TOTALLY dry. The clean up was about the same as the regular juicer. I give this an A+.

They are both great options and I definitely recommend them both. I like the Auto10 a little bit better for these reasons: 1. More powerful motor. 240 watts vs 200 on the J2. 2. Longer run time of 45 min vs 30 on the J2 3. Pulp outlet chute is a bit bigger so less clogging potential on the Auto10 4. Sorbet attachment included vs not on the J2 5. Larger 100 oz hopper included on the Auto10 vs extra purchase on the J2 The price is a bit more for the Auto10, but if you bought the bigger hopper as an add-on for the J2, the price is still less than the Auto10 So it really comes down to if the longer run time and more powerful motor on the Auto10 are preferable to you or not Honestly they are both really solid juicers and you’ll love either one. They both have 15 year warranties on both motor and parts so that is fantastic I have a $70 off discount code for the AUTO10. Hello! It’s very dry. In its price range, this juicer the J2 ( geni.us/NamaJ2 ) is one of the tops. It’s not as good as the Pure ( geni.us/PURE ) but substantially less expensive. Save $ with code: PUREJF21 In its price range, the Greenstar ( geni.us/GreenStarJuicer ) has better yield and nutrient extraction, however it’s slower to use. It really doesn’t produce any additional juice by running the pulp through the juicer again, not advisable really. It is definitely the fastest most convenient juicer I’ve ever used. It’s so fast and easy to use, I find myself using it the most of the dozens of juicers that I test. What's the difference between the kevo380 and the nama j2?
@JuiceFeaster
@JuiceFeaster Жыл бұрын
Hey! They are both amazing juicers! I love the simplicity, speed and convenience of the J2 geni.us/NamaJ2 its batching hopper is just awesome. Just load it up, close the lid and walk away. It chops, feeds and juices all on its own. I also love the power and extra run time of the REVO830. geni.us/JFKuvings it has a 45 min run time vs 30 on the J2; it also can make frozen fruit nice cream where the J2 can’t. Also, the REVO830 has a full 15 year warranty on motor and parts vs 15 on motor, but only 2 years on parts for the J2. It is a bit easier to juice lots of greens on the J2 as it’s easier to fit them in the hopper. On the REVO830, you have to feed one at a time or ball up and feed them into the flip top chute. Not a deal breaker, just different than the J2. Both have similar juice yield and quality, pulp levels, etc. both easy and similar to clean. Both awesome! Really comes down to your preferences. I have discount codes for each: Save $70 on the REVO830: JUICEFEASTER Save $55 on the Nama J2: JUICEJ210 Let me know if you have any other questions! Happy to help!

Great points to consider for sure! I've had the nama j2 for a year now. I have watched dozens of tutorials and read the manual and I cannot juice greens AT ALL without major clogging! Last time I tried it took me 40 minutes to make a single juice...It's so bad I don't even try anymore- advice?

@JuiceFeaster

Hello! It’s does pretty well. Between the J2 geni.us/NamaJ2 and the REVO830 geni.us/JFKuvings from Kuvings, they are the best with greens in the vertical juicer class. To get better yield on greens, herbs and in general, I’d recommend the Greenstar geni.us/GreenStarJuicer or the Sana 727 geni.us/Sana they are incredible juicers. The tradeoff of these two is that they are a bit slower to use as they have small feed chutes that require chopping. The REVO830 and J2 are much faster, but don’t have as good extraction or yield. All of them are awesome juicers, just depends on your preferences. Speed and convenience or yield and nutrient extraction. I have discount codes for all of them except the Sana Nama J2 $55 off: JUICEJ210 REVO830 70$ off: JUICEFEASTER REVO830 Black Friday $210 off: JUICEFEASTER30 Green Star Black Friday 20% off: BLKFRI22 Let me know if you have any other questions!

How is the foaming? I get a lot of foam with pineapple in my GreenStar Elite. Otherwise its a work horse. Not crazy about small hopper however.
@JuiceFeaster
@JuiceFeaster Жыл бұрын
Hey! Minimal foam to be honest. Yeah the Greenstar just doesn’t juice pineapple at all. The J2 doesn’t yield overall as well as the Greenstar and it has more pulp in the juice, but what it lacks in yield and some pulp, it makes up for it in speed and convenience. With regards to hopper size, you can fit a whole pineapple in the hopper so it’s pretty good sized. Makes it the fastest, most convenient juicer I’ve ever used for sure. @Juice Feaster if I get nama it would be for pineapple and almond milk. I will keep my Green star for other things, like sorbet. Once I'm done with juice fast I will stay raw. I've been off and on raw since 2003ish. I am on day 4 of juice feast. Pineapple is something I love and need to sustain the fast longer. Longest juice fast I've done is 16 days. I had uterine cancer, had to have full hysterectomy and no hormone treatments allowed. I have been 100% off all meat and dairy for a year, I know I am done screwing around with on and off raw because it is my only way now to maintain health and weight under circumstances that I wasn't dealing with before surgery Nov.2019. Do you do almond milk in it? Kristina from fully Raw and Gillian both rave about Nama.

@@autumngrace8541 thanks for sharing all of that with me! Yes, I use it to make almond milks as well as other nut milks too. It works great. You just ladle your soaked nuts and fresh water into the top with the machine running and the lid and juice outlet spout closed. Then you just open the spout once the almonds have all come out the spout and voila you have great almond milk! I add dates or other fruits and sometimes vanilla bean or extract to make the most amazing milks You’ll love it! Keep the awesome work and let me know if I can help further! I am leading to purchasing a nama j2 juicer, where I live spinach is very expensive so its cheaper to buy frozen spinach. My question is do you think juicing defrosted spinach and other greens should be avoided.
@JuiceFeaster
@JuiceFeaster Жыл бұрын
Hello! Honestly, you can add them in to a recipe, but they don’t juice very well after freezing as the cell structure has been mushed by freezing. They make more of a purée. Better off just adding them to smoothies at that point. That’s great you’re getting a J2! You’ll love it! Very spendy juicer! What is so special about this juicer compared to other cheaper juicers?
@JuiceFeaster
@JuiceFeaster 6 ай бұрын
Great question! Better juice and nutrient extraction, lower pulp levels, more powerful motor, longer run time, large batching hopper to add ingredients, close the lid and walk away. It chops, feeds and juices on its own. It also has a 15 year warranty on both motor and parts. While other less expensive juicers do indeed juice, the pulp levels are higher in the juice, the yield is less, the machines aren’t as durable and warranties are often short or nonexistent. Let me know if you have any other questions!

I saw alot of foam. Does this juicer juice foamy?
@JuiceFeaster
@JuiceFeaster 4 ай бұрын
Foam is a natural occurrence when juicing some ingredients, particularly greens, pineapple, etc. However, some juicers produce more than others. This juicer, and a couple other top vertical juicers are what I’d call medium foam. The worst foam producing juicers are centrifugal style juicers like the Breville. Or cheap vertical styles. The juicers that produce the least are the single and twin auger horizontal juicers like the Sana 727 or Greenstar 5. And the best of the best, producing the least amount of any juicer, is the Pure hydraulic press juicer.

Hello! I juice the core of the pineapple, that helps for sure. Also, you can give a few rough chops to the greens or tear it into 1/2 or 1/3’s prior to putting it in the hopper. Also, layer the leafy greens on the bottom of the hopper first then other ingredients on top of the greens.

Pineapple clogs my nama j2. Have you experienced that issue?
@JuiceFeaster
@JuiceFeaster 10 ай бұрын
Hello! I can usually get 2-3 pineapples juiced on the J2 before it starts to clog. One thing that helps is making sure to add the core of the pineapple too. I love straight up pineapple juice, but also having another ingredient in there with the pineapple helps. Like oranges or apples. The harder textured ingredients help move the pulp through the pulp outlet chute a little more easily. Hope that helps!

How do you open it after juicing, mine is stuck and i just got it today
@JuiceFeaster
@JuiceFeaster 6 ай бұрын
Hello, I’m not sure if you are doing this, but as with the assembling of the juicer components, they have to be disassembled as well off of the motor base. So, you’ll lift off / remove the entire assembly from the motor base, then twist the hopper off first. When on the motor base, all of the assembly is locked together as a safety precaution. If that doesn’t work, There is a chance that you may still have ingredients down in the juicer bowl around the auger that are packed tightly enough to make the hopper hard to twist off (tough greens or celery can sometimes do this). If so, I’d put the assembly back on the motor and try running it a bit longer to clear everything out. Hope that helps!
