Juicing with my Kuvings EVO820 Whole Slow Juicer

Today I want to share with you my juicing experience with my new fancy Kuvings EVO820 Whole Slow Juicer.
If you've been following me over on Instagram in my stories you know that I've been on a quest to get my entire life together and juicing has been a huge part of that.
I decided a few months back that I would acquire a big girl juicer and save myself some money from purchasing juices every week, and I've had it now for about 2 weeks and I'm so glad we were able to be gifted with our new juicer, and I am even more excited to be sharing this journey with you.

Hi Kae, I have the same juicer as you. Just a tip, you should open the juice cap. You'll notice drier pulp, hence more juice yield. Hope it helps, happy juicing.

Glad that I watched your video. I just used by EVO820 yesterday for the 1st time and became so frustrated with it, I had prepared to pack it up and return it. It kept getting clogged up with celery. I am going to give it one more try. Alternating the types of fruits and veggie and will try cutting it smaller. Wish me luck!

Kuvings design requires all fibrous veggies to be cut into teeny tiny pieces! I wish i had known this before purchasing! I would have chosen a better option…

Thanks for the video - I'm looking for a replacement juicer - so browsing around to see where things are these days. I'm leaning still towards the Omega horizontal as I do a lot of celery, and leafy greens, so less prep work with the horizontal version I think. Sweet potatoes are a good one if you want another to add to the orange combo for a juice. Don't even have to cook them first. Good nutrients in them I think, but I don't like eating them as cooked potatoes - just seems wrong for a potato to be sweet. But in juice, it works for me.

I always let my juice run right out...I find that my pulp discharge is more wet when you let the juice sit in there.

Depend on what fruits you pull , take the pulp and and mix it in cake batters, pancake batters, muffin mixes, other different things like that...

@@KaeWhitaker no problem!! Also If the pulp is too dry you can soften with some juice so you don't have any hard clumps of pulp.

Although whole fruits and veg can be popped in, your juicer will thank you and last longer if you cut them up before juicing.

Just saw the part about you juicing blueberries... So they don't clog it up when juicing blueberries? They do clog up the Omega horizontal juicer. So that's a bonus for the vertical juicer. Probably not a big enough bonus for me, I do love blueberries, but I can just eat them whole and be happy with that probably. Or in pancakes.

You shouldn't juice an orange unpeeled the goodness is in the pith not the skin, the skin can make you sick.

It’s not gonna make you sick because all the essential oil is there. It’s just going to make the juice taste bitter that’s all.

Sorry for the delay. Yes it does. I juice pears and strawberries and soft fruits all the time with not problems and minimum pulp.

I have that juicer and Trust me its a NIGHTMARE Also, the masticated fruits makes it block all the time, I can never open it to . I bought that juicer in Gallery Lafayette in Dubai and they were not really that helpful. I ve also realised that they no longer sell this NIGHTMARE of a juicer.

Hi Lisa, that sounds horrible, but here in the US they definitely still sell it and have great support. I'm sorry that was your experience but we love ours.
