Awwww! Epic Kent moment! “Who asked for that? I don’t know” 😂 so, I love any coconut candle smell and I’m glad they gave us a tropical but winter coconut candle instead of snowflake coconut meh. The ones like perfect winter feel like a public bathroom smell for some reason. Guess that’s why they make so many different flavors because we all have different noses.

Let's see....a couple of notes here. I'm an employee of B&BW and for the first time ever they allowed associates to do their candle day shopping yesterday. I bought 12 candles. I loved Candy Emporium but no one else really liked it lol. Got The Perfect Winter and The Perfect Spring. Then the usual Christmas stuff and the Hanukkah candle. They didn't have Clausmopoliton or Candy Cane Colada yesterday but I like them and want to get those as well. I didn't care for Top Shelf Elf. I got to smell Brioche French Toast and Toasted White Macadamia yesterday but I could live without it. I was at work at 5:30 this morning and the crowds came and went in waves but it wasn't as big as we thought it would be. Lastly, I'm surprised you didn't get the Saltwater Breeze candle. I thought for sure you would have got that one. Can't wait to see more of your thoughts and reviews on this candle day event!!!

I'm skipping Candle Day this year for financial reasons and was feeling a little bittersweet about it but your video has me confident in my choice -- I don't need more mediocre sweet fruit scents and honestly a lot of the packaging is somewhat juvenile -- not my vibe. Plus B&BW didn't even give me a coupon this year, which really sealed the deal on my decision to sit it out. I'll wait until SAS and see what's left then.

I opted out this year for Candle Day as well. I did go into the store to sniff, but left empty handed. Def agree with you about feeling bittersweet. But it seems like the selection this year was a bit underwhelming compared to previous years, so i don't think we missed out on much. Priorities come first, especially in this economy.😅

I went into store at 5:15a.m. Had a sprinkling of shoppers but it was light. I didnt buy Top Shelf Elf and Candy Emporium, they smelled weird to me and I couldnt imagine they would improve with burning. I didnt have any coupons to use, so I bought half as many as last year. Overall, not really excited about any of the new releases. Your Dahlia packaging would have been such an improvement! Thanks for your haul video!😊

Wow I don't know why they went with super fruity notes for a lot of these special releases.. was hoping for boozy or coffee for top shelf elf, dang. I don't love the fruity scents either . I think the releases this year are a tad underwhelming but I'll still be going after work to weed out the good ones. Perfect winter sounds fun The wrapping paper like packaging is to die for.. my favorite of the bunch

I picked up some Warm Apple Pie Candles online, because it wasn’t in stores this year. I think it’s one of their best and most realistic scents. Definitely the best apple pie scent out of any candle company. It’s seems to have sold out now, so I’m glad I was up sick with the flu, so I got to log in at 3 AM and buy the candles. 😅

My store opened at 7. I got there close to 7:30 and it wasn’t bad at all. I grabbed 6 candles and was in and out fairly quickly. I actually like candy emporium on cold! I thought the perfect Winter was just Winter so I passed on it but now I think I need it based on your thoughts lol I’m going back in store tomorrow for the pink hot chocolate and brioche French toast 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Thanks Kent!

It's the first Dahlia candle to my knowledge. Didn't like the weird Santa ones at all.....I think it's called the elephant collection?? Wasn't crazy about the candy ones. I am very unimpressed this year. Still holding out hope for the calm collection that is supposed to be out tomorrow. Thanks again for your reviews

Clausmopolitan had a weird after smell and I actually like blk cherry seltzer better,, passed. Didn’t care for Top shelf elf either. Just got Candy cane colada. I like Perfect winter too. I did pick up Candy emporium and caramel drizzle. Absolutely WOULDVE BOUGHT lavender marshmallow but still have quite a few in my collection. I miss Winter Mint and Spruce have only 1 full jar left. I don’t care for fruity either.

The Perfect Winter is very close to Ice Winter Balsam. Compared them at the store. Seems like a repackage of one of those tree test collection candles from a few years back.

Hard to say, but normally if something is overwhelmingly popular, they'll bring it back the next year after, so doesn't look too good for Cypress & Amber as of now. That candle was pretty much a mix of Marshmallow Fireside and Flannel, so you could get something similar by burning both of those candles simultaneously.

Candy Cane Colada and Candy Emporium going to be real controversial this year. I passed on Candy Cane Colada because I don’t like pineapple or coconut candles very much, but picked up Candy Emporium because it gave me a scent memory of childhood candy stores.

It also annoys me they didn't give the body care candles their wraparound label. They can afford to put a little more plastic on the candle jar and still sell it for candle day lmao. Now that you mention the exchange policy requiring items to be at the same price point, I feel like that's probably why they quickly changed all the candles and stuff over to a .95 price point lol

Does anyone know how you would be able to use a coupon online to get them for less than the 9.95 says you enter the code candle day but can’t combine with any other coupons. Asking for my mom who’s store closed and the new one hasn’t opened yet so can’t shop in store thank u 🌲

Online requires a code so you can’t use coupons with this promotion, unfortunately. You would have to go into a store to use your coupons. The usual going rate for candles outside of Candle Day is 12.95, so 9.95 without a coupon is still a better deal than 12.95 with let’s say a 20% coupon.

Both are great, so I don't think you can go wrong with either if you enjoy tree fragrances. The main difference is that Tree Farm has a bit of apple that makes it sweeter and juicier. Fresh Balsam is a bit more outdoorsy and rustic, but still naturally sweet from the pine needles. I prefer Fresh Balsam over Tree Farm.
