I was in high school by the time the song dropped, so I knew what he was talking about...but I had never felt that "poke" when dancing with a boy. When I graduated a few years later, I went clubbing for real for the very first time and was grinding against a dude during an up-tempo song. I felt the poke. 😂😂 Side Note: Now, when it came to songs like "Do Me, Baby," "I Touch Myself," and "Me So Horny," I was a lot younger when they came out. I'd sing those songs to the top of my lungs and had no idea what they were really singing about. 🤣🤣

@MsNotzi shortly before "Me So Horny" came out, George Michael had a song called "I Want Your Sex" I was maybe 4 or 5 and my mother has me on an old VHS tape, singing that song at my sister's birthday party. How could RL dad NOT see his talent! This voice was meant to be heard by the world. The singles from they debut will always be undeniable, but my favorites ended up being _Penetration_ feat. Naughty by Nature and _Taste So Good._ A lot of folks sleep on _I Still Love You,_ but that's my favorite single after _Too Close._ _Too Close_ is everything that I love about the 7th grade: school dances, Charlotte Russe, Bebe, Old Navy, Urban Decay, R&B and Calvin Klein shades.
