I think recording companies have a lot to do in terms of improving royalties of their artists. Maybe lawyers with experience of the entertaining industry might help to correct the wrongs. I never knew what I was missing till I bombed into his music on KZbin just before the end of last year. It is marvelous. The brand is truly entertaining. God bless you Mr. Ade Wesco. Not too many musicians will admit to having a role model he or she follows during the course of their music career. Most of them will tell you they have been singing from their mother's womb. This is a gentleman who simply confessed to have one without mincing words that Late Pa. Orlando Owoh was his role model. I still have about 6 clean LP records of this great musician. Thanks to the interviewer who brought this man out from oblivion.

I never get tired of listening to his songs as well as those of the late Dr. Orlando Owoh. Quite revealing to learn they are both Ifon 'omimah' and even related. I found it really difficult to believe it wasn't Orlando singing, the first time I listened to 'Aye wa a dun' by Ade Wesco. Tribute to a living highlife legend, Baba Ade Wesco. Alujonu oni guitar.... Hun it is just like yesterday,I remember when he used to come and play at a particular hotel right beside our house at Ekotedo Iyaolobe Ibadan owned by one Abeokuta Man on the same side with Victoria hotel,if I am not mistaken and if I still remember very correctly because I am talking about almost forty years now I think the name of that hotel is Sunrise Hotel as a matter of fact the closeness is such that it is just a road that goes between our house and the hotel. May God Almighty grant him long life and make the fruits of his labour enough for him to eat. This is one of the big problems plaguing Nigeria, you labour at a young age to be able to get something to fall back on when you grow old and sadly enough when you eventually grow old you will sadly be denied the fruits of your labour as at when you are supposed to start enjoying them,that is why you see most of these people suffer and eventually die an untimely death,sad

I remember aswell when he used to played at Chrisbo Hotel and Palace Hotel very close to our house in early seventies i was quite a kid then.. I dont think he is in is fifty then.
