JuJu Smith-Schuster || 2020-2021 Steelers Highlights ᴴᴰ "Put On"

JuJu put together a solid season in 2020 for the Steelers. He tallied 97 receptions for 831 yards and 9 TDs with Ben Roethlisberger's return. I think he could've gotten more than that if we expanded our offense and gave him more downfield routes, but he was reliable when called upon and I enjoyed watching him with Ben again this season. One of my favorite Steelers. Although it's looking like we won't be able to resign him with our cap situation I'm hoping we can pull something off in the offseason. Even tho the dancing may have been disrespectful, JuJu is a very good guy and the amount of hate he gets for what happened is too much. He's a team player and is always looking for ways to give back to the community. As a player he is very physical and fights for every yard, and Ben trusts him with the ball the most. He is also the leader of the WR core, that are all very young and lack experience. I'm still hoping he can take some discount so he can be re-signed. He likes being in Pittsburgh. But if not, I'm hoping we can have one last good playoff run with him.

I agree. He’s too slow, not that’s he’s slow, to be a YAC receiver. He’s a great down field contested catcher/possession receiver. He’s great at YAC don’t get me wrong but he can’t be primarily a YAC.
