Love Bo Nix. He found a home where the offense runs through him and he’s allowed to make his own checks and lead the team. Always putting the team in the right place to win a game.

Also Oregon can at least put a legit O Line in front of him so Nix wasn't running for his life Shadeur Sanders style for all 3 years he spent at Auburn.

Nix is efficient and does a lot of things well. He is surrounded by such a good team that he looks like he doesn't have to play that hard but he makes all the throws, reads all the reads and is cool under pressure. They've protected him pretty well so far and if that continues he will pick a lot of teams apart. He has a lot of athleticism but he hasn't had to use it much so far, If that continues it will be a good thing. I think there is an emphasis, in this offense, to not expose him to physical risk. Again, a good thing.
@tren133 Жыл бұрын
Yeah but Nix made some gutsy gutsy winning plays down to the wire against Texas Tech where the game was close. That's the value of an experienced stud QB.

getting Bo gave me serious mixed feelings 2 years ago. seeing what he did to us in his very first game in 2019 followed by his up an down career with Auburn i didn't kno how to take him transferring to Eugene. needless to say he's definitely exceeded my expectations an been a true leader of this team. his leadership an experience plus these 2 coordinators he's worked under have been perfect for the offense. as long as he doesn't get injured again this team will be extremely hard to beat.

I dont know what that other guy is saying down here but we love Bo at Oregon😆. As far as Auburn using him wrong, I don't know. He's obviosly got more experience now than he did at Auburn but Bo has also talked about the toxic environment at Auburn, shit like getting harrased around town after a bad game, and he's said Oregon is the opposite. That might be part of his change.

This was absolute domination on all phases of the game. Colorado got physically man-handled, even Oregon’s 2’s and 3’s came in off the bench and continued to physically dominate Colorado’s staters. It definitely go real. But Colorado has a bright future though with Coach Prime. He’ll get the talent.

Duck fan since 1970. They suct for the entire 70's and 80's.. They had a 36-73 w/l record during the 70's. They only half sucked during the 80's and didn't matter in college football til '94. Bo Nix is the greatest quarterback since Marcus Mariota and should be a Heisman contender. And without sounding like a typical football fan, I actually think he can take them all the way. He does have enough talent surrounding him to field 2 teams so there is no reason the Ducks can't take this all the way.

Oregon fan here, Bo nix is elite, he had no help at auburn. Oregon's talent is way way better than Auburn's. And also to answer why you didnt see very many offensive highlights for colorado its bc they had 21 first half total yards... Oregon had 22 first half first downs to put that into perspective.

in case someone reads this: the players on the Deion team should be happy and proud to be on the team. Deion has shared words of encouragement to motivate you to perform. So play. If your job is to tackle, then tackle and walk away.... one successful tackle should NOT end with you standing over the downed opponent with your arms crossed, facing the SUN (like a super hero). One touchdown should not end with you asking for applause from the end-zone crowd. No. I think that ALL OF YOU players will be more respected by the REFs if you tone down the cockiness. I noticed the lack of respect from the REFs. When 4 guys stop a DUCK runner with the ball and "struggle" to take him to the dirt, the REF called unnecessary roughness. But when 4 guys could not take down a buffalo to the dirt (there was no call of roughness). Why ? because there is no empathy IF THE PLAYERS are a little cocky. When the REFs see that a player is not going down, then why dont they just blow the whistle to stop the play ? Maybe they are waiting for the guy to BREAK AWAY... but if he is not from the right team, then it is roughness. NIL is great... but share NIL talk at the cafeteria or in the dorm. When the game is on, YOU the player cannot and should not be thinking STATS ! You should not be thinking that THIS tackle just increased my yards. My interception is really making me look good (to the announcers or NFL coaches). You should play the game, one play at a time, and work like a team. The DUCKS had over-celebrators too. Number 18 catches a touchdown pass, and does his Usain Bolt pose also. Each of those MOVES by the player tells the world ( I AM AN INDIVIDUAL ).... He should wait for his team mates to pat him on the back (LIKE A TEAM DOES) !

Had my dying 2 minutes in, love it! Your question on Nix is YES. "WTF" 🤣 "over the top yo mouth" yes there was fans bouncing after shout. "And they block the kick" 😂 Edit: Man it's gotta be the system for Nix. He improved his completion % from like 60ish in 3 years at Auburn to low 70s last year, avg 84% this year so far. Averaged 2.5k yards at Auburn. Got 3.5k at Oregon first year. Interceptions bout the same with 6 or 7 a season. But the kicker is amount of TDs! He got about 10 to 15 a year at Auburn. Smashed like 30 for Oregon last year. Better O line, lesser defensive competition and arguably better guys to throw to.

Duck here. I was 200% skeptical of Bo Nix. There's so much STORY in great Oregon QB's like Mariota and Herbert and Bo seemed like a mercenary carpetbagger. I thought the program had made the wrong moves. And I was wrong. Watching him work with the team and really be part of the team was actually super cool. His demeanor on- and off-field won me over. College football is beset with problems but this years Oregon team is the real thing.
@daelkolwitz3509 Жыл бұрын
Regarding Bo, his best Auburn seasons were under Mahlzan and Dillingham. Auburn kept changing OCs with different philosophies, so Auburn did not utilize him well. As far as Oregin fans, they were leaving in the 3rd quarter as soon as the second team took the field because the game was over.

Nix is legit. I doubt there's many Duck fans that have a problem with him. I'm a fan of their rival Oregon State, and Nix is respected among our fan base. Sure, some people take shots, but no one is running around calling him trash or seeing him as the weak link for the Ducks.
@jamesdanielssr5346 Жыл бұрын
In the question about bo yes we had questions when you first came. Because he tried to play hero ball. But he settled down and just started taking what they're giving. And being smart, don't try to fit it in to a small space with 2 and 3 defenders around you all the time. So we are happy with him. And we have a great coach. Who comes from Georgia and had 2 national Championships in a row. He brought that kind of. Confidence with him.

With Bo at Auburn, I think he went in with certain exceedingly high expectations and was unable to deliver. He wasn't bad, but he was in a bad situation. He needed a better foundation and supporting cast around him; he didn't have that and so he tried to compensate for that and do everything himself. Now he doesnt have to do that.

so in auburn Bo for some reason felt he had to be everything...here at Oregon he's finally letting he skill players and o-line do the work all he has to do is be efficient and smart with ball and use his legs as a second and sometimes even third option.
@xion19922 Жыл бұрын
A lot of us were super nervous about Bo. Largely because it seemed to be a crapshoot about whether good Bo or bad Bo was going to show up. He pretty immediately squashed those worries. Seems like it was a combo of a couple things at Auburn. 1) the pressure of being a legacy got to Bo's head. 2) super inconsistent line play caused him to have to improvise a lot without having many playmakers who could improvise with him. 3) offense (aside from his first year) didn't play well to his strengths. When all is said and done, Bo will probably go down as an all time great at Oregon. Also, Autzen was pretty well full until mid 4th quarter. Definitely had some people leaving at the half.
@xion19922 Жыл бұрын
Also, the ducks were definitely charged due ti some pre-game stuff. There was stomping on the O, but that was the least of the offenses. Shilo said he was going to kick the coaches asses, colorado took up the entire field during warm-ups rather than half, they ran out of the tunnel at the same time as the Ducks preventing them from doing the pre-game drive out, and they drew on the walls of the away team locker room.

Auburn had a terrible O line, mediocre receivers, and no run game. This just shows that it wasn’t Bo that was the problem at Auburn, it was the lack of supporting talent. That why he was 10-2 at Oregon last year while Auburn went 5-7.
@ToxicReaperGaming Жыл бұрын
We love Bo at Oregon and when he had Kenny Dillingham at Auburn he was good but without him didn’t look good and at Auburn he had no weapons and one of the worst offensive lines in the country he came here and had Dillingham first year Dillingham is now the head coach at Arizona State BO 1st year did amazing now he has will stein and he’s doing amazing

It's not that Colorado didn't want to play. Oregon had their number. Colorado isn't elite yet. S Sanders was talking too much time with the ball... Because their receivers couldn't get any separation for the passing game. The Oregon fans didn't leave. They were showing footage of fans on their way to Autzen stadium towards the end of the broadcast.... Not fans leaving. It was just still photos on footbridge. Misinterpreted.

"Do better." Colorado is not going to do better until they recruit a o-line and a d-line.... The racked up three wins against three teams that can't defend the pass (#122, 91, 130 in passing yards allowed). And they only have one team left on their schedule that is that bad: Stanford.

Some of those plays there clear open room close in, BUT NO, Sheduer wants a BIG PLAY down field! He only thinking about a Heisman FOR HEMSELF!!! 😡 NO MORE Heisman talk for Travis, now maybe he will be alittle more HUMBLED. I really thought Sheduer would get the ball out fast. Bet the O coach is AFRAID to Dress him down cuss his daddy is head coach? 🤔 If he does that against USC, time to BENCH him.
