They called it "tester" but really it was just early access, not a single tester was "boosted" or given anything for free. (other than a *temporary* PS but PS won't change how long the grind is) Everything was grinded for. All tester exclusive items, titles, and weapons you had to grind for, or you won't get it even though its "tester exclusive". We had to roll, grind, and buy gamepasses in order to "test" content which the rates should've either be temporarily raised or have an admin/tester panel give the option to give it to us to test. I let it slide as "the devs just want to get some money after working on the game for a year" back in 2023, but I realized too late they're never gonna raise the rates or boost us in any sort of way. This game straight up preyed on kid's fear of missing out, that you *could* get something other people can't, but *only* if you buy the game and play for 170+ hours to get it. Also, to the people saying testers got free spins, codes would come out once every 3-4 weeks, or whenever the game would reach a milestone (50k testers), lasting a week at most, but most often 1-2 days. to put in *only a small bit* of perspective on the tester grind: to grade up it used to cost sukuna fingers, to obtain the ability to *unlock* a domain is 20 fingers, and to buy them they costed 2-4 million per domain. (depending on your innate) Which you only got 15-20k per mission, sometimes with money boosts 40-50k. iirc from 2023, in total it would cost around *45* sukuna fingers to get special grade, and unlock domains. Which sukuna fingers are still special grades so you needed to get a 0.25% drop in order to get 5, and around 1% chance to get 1. it used to take 1-2 hours of grinding to get enough money to buy *one* domain, not even accounting the prices on some abilities, which mahito had the most cost, at around 20-25 million to max out his skill tree. Alone, I remember his domain costing the most, Around 4.5 million. this is as much as i remember, during testing i had personal problems which stopped me from testing, a side effect was memory loss/brain damage so i forgot alot of details.

i will say personally that there were many opportunities to 'test' stuff as there was a complete separate gamemode where you got 100 of everything and mastery was set to max. didnt help that you still needed to get the cursed techniques first though

This game isn’t the best but it is not “garbage”. When we see them update the game and if those updates that come out are bad then I will accept that the game Is garbage . But with the culling games and Gojo curse boss coming out soon. The game can become really good if they release good updates. Just because game had bad release does not mean it can’t I’mprove.

While its unfortunate that the game couldn't be everything the testers wanted it to be, it's not realistic to expect that especially for a roblox game. Also its not like people HAD to be a tester, its not like they HAD to buy gamepasses, waiting for release is an okay option too, being able to test it was more a privilege than a necessity. Then again it sucks that the devs didn't follow up on their promise of free private servers for them, but as far as I know it wasn't advertised as something when they were buying tester, therefore it shouldn't be seen as a divine right for them. Overall I don't think it should be seen as a "bad game" because it didn't meet expectations, as it's still better than most games on the platform, but alas we can only wait to see where the devs go with the game and whether they'll eventually begin addressing the concerns of the community. Of course if I'm wrong about anything here please correct me :)

wdym "expect that from a roblox game", this exact mindset is why roblox games are bad, there are many good projects but people would rather ignore them and pretend you can't make anything good on roblox. it's a game engine, like any other. it has a childish aesthetic, but if you can overlook that like a normal person, it functions fine, games like Deepwoken prove it, and ofc all the small games like phighting, blox tales, all the stuff you hear about in the "10 UNDERRATED ROBLOX GAMES 😱" videos, they're good games roblox or not. this game was in development for years and had competent developers, i'm telling you if they wanted to add something they could have, they didn't want to.

Sup, I was the first guy Myth interviewed so I'll talk a little bit more at length. I started testing the game around a week or 2 after release, I'd seen some sneak videos and I was extremely excited to try it. First month of the game was honestly fun, the PVP was insanely fun to play, especially with friends and the devs seemed to actually care. Testers usually didn't prog, as for the first month or 2 there was a mode were you would just be put in a map and fight other players, kind of like a battlegrounds game. This mode was a ton of fun for us and was what we were hoping the games combat would be, absolute chaos. Skip a few months later and the game started to show what it was really going to be, another bandit beater. The progression you see now has not changed in any meaningful way since testing, the only changes are UI changes and changing bosses to an instanced event instead of spawning in the map. They've shown off things like the culling games in the testing server but its still not implemented and I honestly have 0 idea as to why. The game would receive "big" updates that were spaced months apart but really all they would add is some new weapons and maybe a technique or 2. The only massive update they did was adding the skill tree and focus but it was clear that once they'd made the insane amount of money they did from testers buying the game, they just got lazy. With the game going public, the meta seems to be just spam AOE moves until you have domain, domain clash and whoever wins that wins the fight. There's none of that chaos. The only fights you can do are 1v1's. Yes you can technically fight people in the overworld, but no one has PVP turned on so you really can't. Most things on the game are RNG based, which is insanely annoying and doesn't reward the time you put into the investigation or the boss. Where I do like the games PVP, its progression is so mind numbingly boring that it just isn't worth your time. On top of that, the absolute greed to charge us for game passes during testing was always something that rubbed me the wrong way, since we just paid $30 to play the game. Heavenly Restriction being a gamepass was also a major red flag, as it is literally just a technique but you have to pay $20 for it. TL;DR go and play a better game and don't waste your time on this until they add the actual game to the game, as right now its just beat bandits for 10 hours then go and do 1v1's. Haven't seen a single positive review for this game so far and I see why, it sucks.

Honestly if they made the game feel more 'alive' it wouldn't be so boring the grind. I wanna see cities, suburbs, not just this desolate wilderness. Also the only way to get spins being locked to AFK and Dailies is just so boring, "hey, play our game for like 10 mins then spend the rest not playing it." You know what games did all that better while having long grinds? Shindo Life and AUT. Their long grinds were more involved.

the grind would be fun if it were hard, Eclipse literally made a video and showed that you don't even have to fight back in the capture missions to win, I would like a challenging fight but even the bosses are just disappointing, most bosses should have attacks that MUST be dodged or blocked, but I can just walk through everything and take like 5% of my HP and continue fighting For context, Fantastic Frontier is a pretty grindy and difficult roblox game where most enemies one shot, and it has become one of my favorite games to play as a result of the fights being actually fun, not just "stand still ane click for two seconds to kill curses" in short, my main critique is that the enemies are too easy to fight, considering you have to stand still for 5 minutes i even get to half hp

I was a tester. Devs told us that boss difficulties wouldnt be level locked (so you can play higher difficulty higher reward/faster progression), ranked wouldnt be level locked and they promised the game would have pvp as a means of progression. Game drops, npcs are all super dumbed down, all the previous promises were entirely given up on and the progression SUCKS. Fun fact, before release the basic npcs could domain you, jump you and even parry. The devs only removed this because "appeal to the little roblox kids".

honestly yeah the whole situation with the testers and the money its pretty bad, now i do want to say that the grind is totally fine with me, like i see alot of people complaining about it, but i honestly see it pretty easy, im not talking about luck, but so if u want a domain shard u could go to the cursed market for only 50 fingers that would take u around 8 and a half hours to get, with 0 luck, which its not that bad compared to other grinding games, what im trying to say is that while yes this game has some cashgrab mechanics its not bad if ur totally Free to play, spins? 60 a day its quite alot u could get a special grade every week if ur super unlucky, what im trying to explain is that while the game looks bad from outside its not entirely bad, so in my opinion its an ok game, most roblox games tend to use the gamepasses to earn robux, like look at blox fruits, GPO, and any game of that sort, they all have super expensive stuff because thats how does game works, yet they have the most player count in roblox, they aren't bad, but they are made to earn money, but thats literally 90% of videogames do that, like look at ubisoft lol, it ain't just roblox devs its the gaming community in general. So while i wouldn't hate on the game i would on the devs, still those are my opinions.

Iv bought tester as i thought it would be better that they would try and listening more but the more i played and the closer we got to release i realised "huh this game really didn't change much at all in the past year" and i got very sad as the game has really good potential the devs were goodish and would at least try listening but when it comes to it as a community most people earlier realised that the game was half done if anything and tried telling the devs to change the game and focus on it more rather than give the fans a half-@ssed release and i fell like they were in some aspects more run by there own greed over the fact of making there game better and its kind of depressing as i find some of the devs (Robby) from what iv seen are REALLY passionate about making the game good but it just kind of fell down.

So i knew about jji when it was early access but i didnt rly care too much until it got released. I started playing it myself and mabye its because ive played other bandit beaters before like blox fruits, but i dont think the games that bad. Sure every single gamepass is overpriced but theres like 7 codes out rn that give like 600+ spins and ex boosters. Ive played for like 7 days EXTREMLY casualy and the most i have to complain about is the insanly long time it takes to spin for something you want. In my opinion they just need to add quests imbetween vilages in the open and create more progression in pvp and mabye open world bosses and it would be pretty fun. The npc combat feels pretty good (exept for unregistered curses i hate those little shits) and even though i feel bad for anyone who early tested the game for $30 but if you are just starting, its not that bad for a roblox game and definitly one of the best jjk games out there. (That isnt a high bar to pass tho)

It's not the grind itself, it's just how smooth the road is, enemies do too little damage and the fights are not even fights, not even bosses because you don't even have to block or dodge ONCE. You can literally just say "fuck all" and brainlessly go to the enemies, click and bash your keyboard, and win, no real challenge to the PVE, yk? And while sure, there are boss difficulties, I am not gonna play the unplayable part of a game for it to get good, if you burn the crisp of a steak but the inside is still well made, do you eat the burnt steak because it's well cooked within, or do you throw it away? My main critique is that it's too easy to the point where fights don't even need you to roll or side step certain attacks, because no matter how many hits you take, you can literally walk it off

The pvp is fun. Ive gotten cryokinesis + boogie woogie, perfected it, made many ppl ragequit, never had to worry about excessive grinding

idk what yall are on about, the game looks fucking amazing, literally almost NO bugs other than the dash rush thing glitching on the ground and flinging you but thats literally a roblox issue, so far i've had alot of fun playing it and about the gamepass that costs alot of robux and buffs everything, its literally toji's fucking ability, he's op in the anime so he'll also be op in game,i do agree that it should be obtainable for free but apart from that, he's op, ofc his ability would be op in game

Ever heard of game balancing, yeah it’s a real life saver. The game is a million times worse if it’s not fair to play. Sure it may be a lot of robux and well, robux well spent to easily beat people, but that’s P2W. HR isnt as strong as you think, most of its moves consist of some type of grab or combo extender. Out of all of them, 2 of the moves are guard breaks while the rest are blockable. I think the problem is the $30 tester tag, which is still a big price, which promised testers "free private servers". Additionally, the "open world" isn't used very well as you just teleport to the areas important to story and thats about it, the map has barely changed.

I myself wouldnt consider something that affect a really tiny part of the game that really doesnt do anything because im pretty sure pvp mode gives nothing ''unbalanced'', it may be op but it doesnt affect the community itself, and even so, the game is full of pulls and dashes that home, being fast is almost useless other than dodging skill shoots lmfao

Ngl JJI is okay as long as you dont mind grinding and using codes But as soon as you cant get any good/wanted innate due to no codes then the game becomes shit. Like bruh Im not gonna pay twice the price of Deepwoken for Innate Bag. Playing it is okay. Paying for it is not.

@plasmacrimson Thats what I said The game is a slop but if you play MMOs on the daily basis (games that work basically the same way) then you wont mind playing this game The only issue I see is how expensive some of the stuff is I wouldnt pay for it regardless of price but buying an incomplete feature (Heavenly Restriction) seems dumb when you pay 1200R for it Im not saying the game is good by any means Im just saying that the game is a good waste of time if you wanna do mindless bandit/boss beating

I don’t get why people hate infinite. I find it fun, and while it is a bandit beater, the techniques are pretty cool to use, and the gameplay is much similar to blox fruits. One thing I do wish, is that I kinda want the game itself to be more difficult. This is my opinion, and you are welcome to disagree, however, I feel like the game is getting just random hate.

This game is beyond grindy. This is worse than playing mmos or games like warframe free to play (Which I personally do). This is padding in its purest form, a 0.1% chance to get the most iconic abilities in jjk? Its a joke. For comparison, in warframe you get 4 abilities per 'character', imagine you had to do mission after mission with a 0.1% chance to get your 3rd or 4th? That would be horrible, but you dont have to imagine here.

While testing this game, they had a sandbox mode which basically allows you to use any move or system in the game to test it out. I was completely fine with this because the game was in testing and I had thought they were planning to remove it upon release. Fast forward to the release, and the game still has this sandbox mode which basically removes the incentive to get these moves/techniques yourself because of the immense grinding you need to get them ontop of the luck you need to actually roll some of these techniques. I have no clue why they decided to keep this in the game
