I’m a believer in always watching OPs cause it’s how the creators of the show intended the show to be watched, “spoilers” or not (imo, not spoilers if the show itself is letting you know something.) JJK’s 1st OP changes slightly as the season progresses which is really cool, and the Junpei thing is obviously a nice gotcha.

@@JCmud351 yeah after episode 7 when we see Gojou's eyes, they started showing it in the opening at episode 8. And after episode 12 when this happens to Junpei, you can see Itadori crying in the last seconds of the opening in ep 13.

This episode made me love Itadori's character by leaps and bounds. Instead of forcing his morals on Junpei he told him to tell him what happened so he could understand. It just wouldn't make sense to force your morals on someone who's clearly in despair. In fact it'd just be selfish. The characters in this show are extremely well written.

I think Yuji saying that they are both curses is more in reference to Sukuna than Mahito. Because this is the second time that Yuuji had turned to Sukuna for help, and I think he’s realized that Sukuna is pure evil and will never be an ally.

Hey guys! Great reaction! This episode is definitely a huge turning point for Yuji. Just a quick note on Junpei’s realization about Mahito. When he’s saying Mahito’s name he realizes “Ma” and “Hito” when written out (in Kanji) literally means “bad person”.

Junpei is the character I could relate to the most. Our experiences are so similar. His death destroyed me. I always fall apart when I watch this episode.
