I think you got things mixed up. Mechamaru was stationed in one place place. Panda only assumed that because he uses puppets he needs to be in the vicinity. But thats no the case for mechamaru. He can remotely control his puppets anywhere because of his immense cursed energy

Yes 😄 He’s that powerful because of the heavenly restriction that mechamaru mentioned. Its a binding contract put upon the body from birth. Its like the law of equivalent exchange. In his case, because of his disabilities, he is granted with an immense cursed energy from birth. Hope that can clear things up

SLIGHT SPOILERS: One thing that I’ve been thinking about is that it’s interesting they only had one mechamaru. If all the sorcerers are allowed to fight with their full strength (short of killing each other), shouldn’t Kokichi have been allowed to bring more Mechamarus? He has dozens… Did the officiants just decide that would be too unfair? But if that’s the case, what about the exchange event Gojo and Geto were in when they were students? They would have been near unstoppable, but they were still allowed to participate, right?

Killing or injured other beyond recovery is not allowed, that's the exchange event rules

@@nya69696 Yes. Kokichi having more mechamarus wouldn’t have been killing/seriously injuring the other students, though. If he could have used his full ability, he would be much harder to incapacitate. The event isn’t just about fighting, it’s about exorcising the curses too.
