There can’t possibly be more than 3 buttons being pressed to initiate a 3 hit combo. 3 hits with like a half a a second delay in between each at that. Compare all the available gameplay of JJK to the brief trailer we got from DBZ Sparking Zero and tell me which looks lazily thrown together and which looks like they put some actual thought and love into it.

The main thing that leads me to believe this isn't a cash grab is that all the characters are unique and play differently with various gimmicks. My biggest thing with it is how fun will it be in the long run. It needs to be good on launch, and it needs to be good two years after launch when I get it on sale.

I was so hyped when the news of a JJK game was first announced. I was so hype bro this has been my fav manga I’ve been reading the past few years and the anime’s been *killing* it this year. This was the ultimate moment to capitalize on the momentum the series had built up. When the trailers dropped, the graphics had me a little nervous ngl but as long as the gameplay was on point, I wouldn’t mind. Now that there’s gameplay.. this game broke my heart bro. Looking like a Jojo EoH environment/movement & Dissidia combat mixed. It’s just a shame after so many games have released since Naruto Storm, none have been able to carry the torch from that series. And funny enough, with all the bs going on with CC2, I’d honestly prefer if they would have made this game and given us a JJK Storm. Feels bad man 😓

Ngl this game being a dissidia clone makes it already more interesting than many other arena fighters. Dissidia has a learning curve that by looking at these comments tells me people dont want that and want a button masher. I'm hyped for this game now especially with how they further make characters unique. Had a friend bring up namamu might be a cheesy online character if we can set timers to 1 minute.

@@XUIW no??? MHA One’s Justice 2 is a 1v1 fighter on a small stage and both characters have assists. JJK has big arenas, is 2v2, no assists, with different game mechanics. They are using a similar engine to make the graphics and animations, but the actual gameplay is completely different

REALLY hope there’s some depth in this game. Dissidia (012) is my favorite arena fighter ever made because you have full defensive options, plenty of offensive options, and unique & fun bonus mechanics. Eyes of Heaven was a sad attempt, and MHOJ had good ideas but flawed execution. Gundam Versus deserves a shout-out too, that one is actually good, just hard. Movement is huge though. Dissidia seems way snappier than a game like MHOJ. If this game could get sped up a little bit I bet it would be a blast.

Personally that is My hero ultra rumble and armored core for me. Thought MHUR would just be ok but its great when it works, and armored core blew me away so I know the floatiness might make it feel smooth rather than sluggish and with a game using verticality like this it may be what gives it a feel of responsiveness.

personally i think they should allow local 1v1 play since that helps arenas stay alive, they should even introduce 3v3,4v4 or a battle royal(as much as its diluted) i personally liked jump force and i think its gonna be fun i just dont want it to die personally

Honestly I think they have 100% missed the mark, we should have curses around the map that are use to increase your cursed energy, each level you build should increase length/damage of combos and saving it to max should either grant domain expansion or a black flash combo depending on the character, maps should have a destroyable environment and this 4 chances between 2 players is just not ideal, have 2 wins then a full knockout? Also a special grade curse should spawn in after the match has a certain amount of time left which gives a large amount of cursed energy to the team that beat it, add a button pressing challenge and who misses first loses if 2 players both use domain expansion, and add cursed tools which can randomly spawn or be found that provides a special move, they missed so many awesome ideas even a PVE against curses

At first I was not excited about this game even though I love JJK. That being said after watching how it plays I’m getting game for sure. It’s gonna feel more dynamic depending on what character you play. So having favorite characters won’t feel like a crutch or instant win but a true manager of playstyle. It looks balanced and fair.

The keyword I wanted to hear is Dissidia. But that's the thing, I'm still playing Dissidia 012 even to this day, but Dissidia NT is a different taste and it feels like it's an NT-isque game. It looks super floaty and slow, and I'm hesitant to buy it but I'm still interested. Don't care about the story except the Exclusives since it's basically just the Anime's, I just want it to be decent to add it to my Switch Library of "Forever to Play".

i might be cherry picking a little bit but I feel like there's not enough impact on the moves visually. Like I watched Gojo shoot hollow purple into a house and the house simply ate it, ultimate moves dont really seem to affect the environment at all.

So in truth this is basically what the free to play game Kurtzpel was trying to actually do and achieve gameplay wise. This game is going to be hella lit. Edit: I just realized they used the shared Vitality Gauge thing. Bringing back so much nostalgia of Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme vs Maxi Boost On. Though I love it I hate the shared Vitality thing.

The main thing I noticed from jump force is the cursed level aspect (although it may have been in previous games as well)
