I think you can make a comparison between the power systems of HxH and JJK since in both cases the powers are unique to each person, meaning that even someone with an unimpressive power can get creative with how they use that power to fill a specific niche. Where HxH is better, though, is that in JJK some powers are just BETTER than others while in HxH there's a rock/paper/scissors dynamic with the powers which makes it more balanced.

True but at the same time, JJKs system is so rigid that it's akin to a caste system. The only way to move up or boost yourself is through some weird hacks. (Like Kenjaku)

I'd say HxH has slightly more creative abilities than JJK. Where JJK has the advantage is that it is better at implementing it's abilities into fights. JJK fights are pretty much HxH fights but with insane choreography.

Your too underrated man. There's a sub, you deserve it. What I will say is about when you said Hunter X Hunter has the best power system (Nen), what I immediately thought was you are absolutely... RIGHT! Unlike others, Nen has deep logic, Now I'm not saying that Nen is more powerful than others, that is controversial and honestly I don't know what I would support for that. What I am saying is that Nen can be used in multiple ways and in each way of using Nen there's nothing that doesn't make sense, its so logical its honestly impressive not having any loopholes in such a power system. That's all I have to say about that. For Jujutsu Kaisen to be the next Hunter X Hunter, I don't get the same vibe so I don't really get what you mean but Jujutsu Kaisen is definitely an anime which is gonna go down in history. Edit: I didn't read the manga so yeah I really don't know how it gets afterwards but right now I don't really get the relation

Thanks for the sub G! And I'm working on the nen video and other videos I promised in this one 😅. For now I will say that I agree with you that Nen isn't great because it's more "powerful" than any other one in manga (it's not lol). But it's still brilliant. Also I would make a strong case for reading the manga as it's much further ahead than the anime (and it gets DARK) so it's kind of a major vibe shift. The best way I can explain the comparison is that it's very similar to the tone shift between the first half of HxH and the Chimera Ant arc going sicko mode in the end. Thanks again !

Another thing is that Gon and Itadori both start the series similar to a typical shonen protagonist but as the show goes on, they start to change their views because their world is cruel and they have to be more realistic. I suck at analysing but it's just my thoughts.

the difference here is that the vast majority of heroes in MHA are good while in JJK for example one of the requirements you need to meet to be a good jujutsu sorcerer is that you need to have some loose screws. And it is explicitely stated that sorcerers aren't exactly good people because a lot of the times their job requires them to ignore the option of saving people in order to deal with some curses , and we have seen this already in JJK with gojo . unlike MHA where the PRIMARY goal of heroes IS to save people , so naturally this profession will mostly draw good people who want to save others. Same with HxH , literally the only hunters we have seen until now who are just "good" are melody and leorio. The rest are either in the gray area or straight up fucked up / evil. Becaus the professions of a hunter requires you to be selfish and only interested in what you are hunting regardless of what happens to other people , which is why it is rare to find good people in hunters. Ging himself said that hunters are selfish creatures.
