@@soygreco2236 Man you must hate everything about Shingeki no Kyojin then. I’ll address every “problem” you have with the story. 1. Zeke changing his mind is something called “Character Development”. People change their minds all the time, it’s normal. 2. Levi is extremely skilled at using the ODM gear and losing a leg just severely reduced his mobility. If Isayama wanted to, he could’ve just had someone act as a filler for Levi- but he wanted Levi to get closure and fulfill his revenge. 3. Mikasa kissing Eren’s deceased head represents the tragedy of their relationship. It shows that without any of the Titans, Eldians, or Marleyans, the relationship she imagined with Eren could’ve been possible, as both Eren and Mikasa had reciprocated their love for one another. 4. The dove that fixed the scarf for Mikasa mirrors Eren’s actions, which can be interpreted as Eren becoming a dove. This has significance because doves represent freedom- which was something that Eren would’ve never achieved due to being a slave to his own ideal. I’m pretty sure anybody who thinks AOT is mediocre specifically because of the ending, is because they misinterpreted Eren’s character. They believed that he was a changed person, when in truth he’d always been this way; a character who believed that the ends justify the means, and selfishly did anything to reach that goal- opposing anyone who disagreed. The only difference now is that he went from being a reactionary character to a character that progressed the story forward. His way of thinking is selfish and childish, and Isayama perfectly portrayed his character all the way until the end.
