Hey there! This is a reaction video on a reaction channel, however, as the channel name and video title might suggest, it's a bit different than what you might typically expect. Most reaction videos on KZbin contain what you might consider highlights from the full reaction, and the creator might then have a Patreon where you can watch the whole thing. I tried doing things that way ( @RiverReacts ) and ran into a bunch of issues because KZbin doesn't understand the concept of consistency 🤪 So now I'm here with this new channel seeing if so-called "watchalong reactions" where NONE of the source footage is shown on screen, but rather a timer is present so that the viewer can sync up the reaction with the show on their own device, is something that a KZbin audience would actually enjoy 🤔
For some creators, I'm confident saying that this definitely wouldn't work. If you've watched a decent amount of reaction videos you've likely seen that a fair amount of them don't really contain any interesting commentary or additional humor or even particularly entertaining reactions. However, I like to think that I'm fairly engaging when I put myself on camera, and as such think that there's a chance this video format could work for me. Given the issues I ran into on my original channel, I figured it was at least worth a shot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
