This still feels like the best directed jjk episode to this day

The Downfall of Geto is one of my favorite sequences in the anime.
@Eterrath2 ай бұрын
The KFC on the street during the final confrontation is also in the manga which is why this scene is popularly known as the KFC Breakup Scene. You see this scene in the JJK 0 movie as well, but make a comparison and you'll see that version is surprisingly bleak and made with muted colors. My interpretation is that this is Geto's interpretation of events where he's finally choosing his own path, that's why the world seems so colorful while the movie one is Gojo's interpretation where his best friend left him. This episode paints two minor characters in a new setting - firstly, Todo's mentor. With a perspective like that, you can only imagine why she wanted to mentor him. Todo very much gets his distaste for Jujutsu authority from her, tho it was always something innate. You can only explore what kind of beliefs she might have instilled in him. The 2nd character, though very minor, is Nanami. It explains why he's initially so forceful about Yuji enjoying his life instead of going to fight special grade curses, because his positive "protagonist" energy is like a mirror to Nanami's dead friend Yu. Poetically, both Gojo and Geto inherit something from Toji. Geto inherits the curse wrapped on his body, while Gojo inherits Megumi, whos name means blessing. Btw, just to make the ending of this episode clear - Gojo doesn't take Megumi to the Zenin clan or leave him alone. He takes Megumi under his own wing. That's why he's not known as Megumi Zenin. Lastly, a small little tidbit that when Gojo pulls up his blindfold to see Yuji and others waking him up, there's a shot of his face where you can see red markings under his eyes meaning he had been crying or at least tearing up.

16:00 Yea thats the point By going about how the jujutsu clans are and how the higher ups are and how the system is that dont happen Thats the point: sending kids to an eternal war while not caring for them will do this, they literally also have just a couple of teachers so they cant really be everywhere for everyone

All those things we mentioned... Things that Soldiers had to fight for here... We can totally relate to this.

another thing, gojo's beautiful eyes are special. they allow him to understand the planet better than everyone else. because of that, he instinctively becomes arrogant and feels superior. that's why he didn't notice geto's depression and later he blindfolds himself. it allows him to calm down. when gojo has his eyes blindfolded he is very human and even imature but when he removes his blindfold he becomes arrogant and even has a sadistic smile.

As I said before hidden inventory is the arc that sold me on jjk in only 5 episodes it does so much for the world and characters aswell as sets up ideas for later down the line.

The thing is that non-sorcerers are the reason cursed spirits exist, jujutsu sorcerers die because non-sorcerers birth curses into this world and geto is done doing that.
@TheGenreVerse2 ай бұрын
We get that, there are real world analogues you could bring up where entire groups of people put others in physical/mortal danger or put entire fiscal systems at risk which can affect millions of others... Yet, I still wouldn't support genocide... It's a good character for a good story though, despite the racism. 😆

5:14 It's alright not to know her, it's the first time she's been properly introduced after all. She is special grade rank which means that she is pretty strong. There's only four special grade sorcerers registered in this modern time which are Gojo, Yuta (one from movie), Geto, and that woman Yuki. And yes she is Todo's mentor. But she is often overseas and doesn't take orders from the higher-ups, which is why we don't see her that much. Fun fact: She is the first special grade sorcerer in this era. She was registered before Gojo and Geto became special grade

I think you forget everything that you learn about the story and the curent time. Geto sad that twice for this 5 episodes - to many cursed spirits were born in that time period and there are not many Jujutsu Sorcerers as you now, Jujutsu teck cant afford something like not sending their special grade sorcerer to deal with them, especially Geto whose abillity is cursed spirits manipulation who can absorb them and become stroger. Gojo saw Geto losing weight when they were tasting Gojos powers. And the principal is not the only one who can send you to a mission so he was not looking at Geto often enough)

We're not commenting on what CAN be done in their situation. We're commenting on what SHOULD be done, what their support SHOULD be... Look, I have first hand experience at being overworked in a combat zone and not having proper mental or physical health support. Not as bad as many before me, but not as good support as Soldiers can have today. We're not talking to the world, we're talking in reference to it.... If that makes sense. Thanks for watching and commenting!

geto was mentally fragile and when he arrived in the village he saw two little girls imprisoned. the villagers accused them of many crimes that they had not committed. it is because of this that geto killed them all and left the exorcists.
@TheGenreVerse2 ай бұрын
We're aware of why he did what he did... He is still a murderer. People that kill in revenge may have a "moral" justification for some, maybe even for many, but they still committed murder. Notice we didn't really dig at him as much as say, Toji... Yet... It's all good though we love the character because of the story, not what they do or don't do...

I think it’s sad Geto is strong and morality that makes everyone even his best friend though he’s gonna be fine. And it’s a cruel truth that I would say Gojo maybe angry at that moment ppl clapping, but he can move on easily caz like he said he’s not really type of guy that so care about it
