17:37 Why not also some of the earlier models from AMI E-G? They also had 120 select 45RPM mechanisms, and there was even a 200 select AMI G model.

Supply and demand mostly! Finding good ones of the earlier models is very difficult when compared to the H onwards, and we tend to find most people aren't quite as into those earlier designs.

The late 50s Sound Leisure one always makes me think 'Ice Cream Bar', like a service bar not a choc-ice 😜 Also... original 45s were all universally 'dinked' and home users had to use the little 3 spoked adapter in the centre. As jukebox use went down and home use went up, the 'non-dinked' became the norm and 'dinked' was the minority.

Yes indeed. Thankfully the modern vinyl jukeboxes can take both!

The digital boxes what size hard drives have they got
@HomeLeisureDirect Жыл бұрын
It depends on the maker and model, but for sake of example, the digital Rock-Ola Music Centres have 1TB of storage out of the box. :) Stuff like Sound Leisure digital jukeboxes rely on cloud storage.

I have a question, and I apologize in advance if it sounds silly. What was the first year that a Jukebox was created that could play 12-inch, 33rpm, full albums?
@HomeLeisureDirect6 ай бұрын
We've searched and searched, and the answer looks to be... 2018! The Sound Leisure Long Player looks to be the first one to do it.

How hard is it to get jukebox parts, or mechanic if needed?
@HomeLeisureDirect7 ай бұрын
For the new models, not really an issue, as the parts for those are still being made and are readily available. As for the vintage ones, people who can repair the vintage models are about and they can source the parts, but they are naturally quite in demand.

Are there any digital jukeboxes that mimics the functions of a vinyl jukebox? Like, it has fake vinyls and pretends that the music is on them?
@HomeLeisureDirect2 жыл бұрын
No such thing exists right now.

@@HomeLeisureDirect What about the button/code system for the song selection, where you look at the sheet to find out what buttons to press? Or is it all touch screen only?

Thanks for the video, very well explained. It is my dream to one day own a beautiful Jukebox, rather one with CDs, in order to be able to listen to my collection. Do you have a reseller in France?
@HomeLeisureDirect2 жыл бұрын
We only cater for the UK at this time. You can try getting in contact with Sound Leisure though to see whether they can supply a jukebox with a French power specification.

Can I hook these jukeboxes to my Sonos home system? Thanks Jason. Spring Hill, Tennessee
@paulturner29123 жыл бұрын
In simple terms, yes. You need to hard wire, via a stereo phono lead, from the auxilary output of the D4 amplifier (on any of the Sound Leisure Jukeboxes) to your sonos system.
@davidclough86713 жыл бұрын
Typically you need a Sonos hub to do this. Most Sonos models are wi-fi only without any aux inputs or Bluetooth capability.

can i connect PC to a new jukebox?
@HomeLeisureDirect2 жыл бұрын
Most of these use self-contained computer units of their own, so probably not in the way you're thinking. Certain models do certainly allow you to interface things like USB sticks though if you want to offload media onto them.

Many mediums you can enjoy with a jukebox, and thankfully CD models are an option if you want one for your CD collection!
@jessequinonez90204 жыл бұрын
Do the jukeboxes already come loaded with vinyls and cds?
@HomeLeisureDirect4 жыл бұрын
They all come empty (unless you buy one with a CD or vinyl pack), so you get to fill them with your own collection. :)
