JULIA CHANG - BREAD & BUTTER COMBOS / ALL COUNTER HIT COMBOS

Lots of you may or may not know but Julia has a hidden move that's NOT in the move list because it's been listed as an easier way to do move in df4 2 1. The hidden move is her old move df4 2 b f 1 which now has a blue spark and does more damage. You can add that to enders and wall damage combos

I low-key might be stupid. I keep trying to get the first combo down and can't seem to get all 3 hits on her d/f + 4, 2, 1 follow-up. Always missing the 1.

Hey bro can you tell me the problem, after Ch b1 and CH db 1 then df 3+4 d df 1 4 1 and d df 1 4 2 the last hit means 2 which causes screw whiffs most of the time even i dash forward after the launcher it never misses in uf 4 3 launcher ... i dont know whats the mistake ???

Make sure to hold D+F when pressing 1

You have to be precise with it. The Changs have been my mains for yrs and I still mess it up sometimes. Safe bet if you hesitate just go with ff 1 so you can get a full combo anyway

julia in this version seems really really really good. Shes got sooooo many CH options, its kind of puzzling when you see characters like this that are released with so many bells and whistles, while characters like Lars for example has just 1 counter hit launcher tool and it's unsafe on block. also you know, there is the blue spark version of the df 421 which does more damage, which is df42, bf1. If you delay that one too at the end, it does a lot more damage.

you don't have to delay if you add a 1 before df4

It's not easy but you can get a better damage combo off her ch uf1 if you use a deep dash ff1 to pick up.

@@bobcabatbat658 You need to make sure to hold the df while you press 1. If you let go that's what gives you the ws1. The input is pretty precise so it might take a bit of practice. Just keep at it.

Fair enough this comment is 4 months old but Julia isn't gimmicky, has no real weakness, easy wall carry, dirty wall dmg, dirty mixups against wall, solid counter hits, very aggressive approach tools and + frame pressure is solid

Bread and butter? No one tournament level will use 90% of those combos find a couple high damage combos that work and perfect them, you have like 40 variations of the same combo...pointless man

Do you even know what Bread and Butter mean? BnB doesnt mean optimal, its for consistency. This video was never meant to be for tournaments because its day one. I watched Chanels stream and he pretty much uses the same combos as his BnB. Several characters also use same combos for different launchers, like for example Bryan. Geez i hate people who complain without thinking.

No reason for anyone to be using so many FF1's in a combo for no reason, julia has hell of a lot better and more damaging ways to deliver damage and also wall carry without the use of use unnecessary weak fillers that'll just scale down the whole combo even more.

Bludika I get 70's at the wall most times and 70's on infinite for most launches by simply adding in another party crasher this video is good for showing you options or showing you maybe how you can build your own combos and experiment this video showed me some options and I created a couple that were a lot better but it was thanks to him lol this is a great video.

Bludika You can't deny though that even for beginners, mashing the fuck out of f,f1 is the easiest to exectute way of getting a lot of wall carry. Sure she has more damaging options, but with an execution ceiling like hers, it's nice to have options that don't require tons of hours in the lab.
