Yeah, the judges aren't very critical anymore. I guess it's bad for business ripping into your product that you chose 🤔 Kids I think are MUCH softer today and need all the support to build them up. Abi Carter has one of the MOST beautiful, angelic voices I have EVER heard, EVER. The judges said she was the BEST they EVER heard on the show after her audition, again EVER. She sat in front of the judges and was expecting to get cut in the final 24. WHAT 🤯 Girl, you are AMAZING. They weren't going to cut you. And Abis Cher performance with the guitar wasn't that bad I thought, especially with bronchitis 🤔 If they cut Abi I would have STOPPED watching the show PERIOD. She is my favorite singer and look forward to seeing her in concert someday 😋 I would pay good $$$ to see Abi today, she is that good for me.

It’s difficult for ANYONE to cover a Fantasia song, and I can’t say that Julia quite measured up vocally. But her stage presence and emotional commitment to delivering the song definitely was Fantasia-esq. I’m going to keep an eye out for this girl!

the #1 artist went to Julia Gagnon whose the Margie Mays of her voice with that voice cover of Fantasia's "I Believe" But Fantasia role that would give her an Oscar, a Grammy and A Golden Globe and People's Choice for every category best actress and best song. Based on a Broadway play by a best selling book, it turned into a movie that only The Color Purple was nominated for best picture in other category. That song that Katy, Lionel and Luke think was a song. In the last spot of the top 20, she spoke about winning a local singing contest in Maine how it helped her gain confidence which is to close it out. Katy loved the heartfelt delivery and Luke said she is inspiring people and has come from a far and Lionel was very proud of her. And with the top 20 that means they have to wave goodbye to three of the top 24. Packing their bagging and ending the road are Elleigh Marie, KBlocks, Blake Prohel and the girl who'll be on youtube a week from May to give us her vlogs about elimination from the top 24..Hailey Mia. But Hailey Mia was not going anywhere from KZbin, she's staying to tell us how did you never make it to the top 24? More on her channel next Saturday before spring continues. This always happens on both the show and by top singers. Top singers know what is going on and will take one or both out and then go off their training. These singers should be using stage monitors. While it's more old fashion, they are probably more reliable.

Not sure, but I think it could also be that it's now live in a big stage. For the pre-recorded earlier rounds they seem to do pitch correction before releasing the footage. So we just don't here such slight pitch issues. I hate that

I freaking love this song choice! At first I was like oh no this is going to be bad until I heard Julia sing it. I am a huge fan of Fantastia, and I am also a huge fan of Julia. Julia is a powerhouse vocalist who would take on hard songs. She should continue with that, and she gave a fantastic performance. I felt every word she sang and she had me standing up and throwing my shoes. Those runs? Yes ma'am! You betta sang! That was her best performance of the season! Flawless job! There is nothing I didn't like about this as I loved all of it even her control is amazing! I need to cover this song. I relate to it.

You can’t stop them from breaking down, especially from hearing their stories, however, this is a live competition and in the beginning judges may choose based off the sadness pain strength in your voice, but not in every song will it get you far far, nevertheless, she made it thru and she was decent, just a little off on some notes

I think something is wrong with the sound team today. Several contestants sounded more off than usual. If they can’t hear themselves correctly through the earpiece, they will be off key and off pitch no matter how good they are. It happened to Mariah Carey during that infamous New Years performance and she straight up refused to sing and I don’t blame her. People don’t understand the physics of why singers can’t hear themselves on stage without a functional Earpiece. I’ve heard enough of her previous performances to know that she is not the problem.

It had its peaks and its valleys, but there’s potential and we may see more of that when she’s not emotional. I will say personally I found the song to be the incorrect choice, it’s a massive undertaking and can swallow the contestant whole if not arranged correctly. That's the problem between training and hearing through the ear pieces. The ear piece can lie and somebody that doesn't know that can try and stay in tune with notes being presented to them in their ear pieces.

Mostly phenomenal, but lost the big part toward the end. I thought she missed the note(s). I think she cried because she was thinking how she screwed up. I don't listen to the judges' comments and only know what I hear on my small speaker. She has incredible potential & is Top 10 this season as far as I'm concerned.
