The problem is that Tom Ellis probably doesn´t want to be typecast - granted: Lucifer was made for him, but he´s an actor who wants to do other projects. Unfortunately he´s locked in his wife´s project right now - a not so good series called Tell me Lies on Hulu - so, for now, he´ll have to go with the flow... and I don´t think we´ll ever see him playing Luci again...

Fortunately he said in several interviews that he would come back as Lucifer, but in movies, because for him the story is done as episodes, unless they make a spin-off and he is a supporting actor. The showrunners confirmed recently (again) that they are trying to make a movie, and I doubt they would do that if the original cast, especially Tom Ellis, is not there, because they always said that they want all the cast there. About Tell Me Lies, if nothing changes, he won't be in S3. For him it was one season experience. He will make "Second Wife", based on the story of Meaghan and him (with changes), but it will be a short series. If nothing changed, these things is what I know so far.

That headdress looked almost bigger than she is...I think it's a real tribute to her dancing ability that she's actually a fantastic dancer (See "Go For It"), but she's skilled enough to look like she has no idea what she's doing (like Ella would do).

Vince Nico Biyo Shows/Movies usually record a studio version and then have the actors lipsync it when the cameras are rolling. Mainly because the actor’s voice could become very strained from working too hard and also if they need to cut scenes together the sound will be more consistent. Both the actor’s volume while singing and the mic distance could cause some trouble. It’s just easier and faster with playback. The playback here sounds like the same as in the episode, so I believe Tom went in and recorded it in a studio beforehand. :)
