I believe for eventing they cap these between 1.25m and 1.30m. Standard show jumping is where you’ll get the 1.60m+

athletes in the video, specialized in horse jumping, never blame their horses. what you are talking about are SOME of the athlete who were in pentathlon. they don't ride their own horse + their jumps are easier than the one in this video so horses can do it themselves and therefore SOME riders blame the horse when it doesn't jump (even though it's their bad riding/treatment that's making the horse act that way)
