The other day you guys bought nice sarees at local rate wherein other shop was charging high. The prices also depends on the locality you're buying from. sorry, they were giving you the correct price it was 100 rupees easily I also bought one for cats it cost me 120 rupees same size. so please don't think everyone is trying to scam. these people earn so less and so much hard work even if it cost 100 I gave them 120 just to help. I never bargain with these people they are very unfortunate in their life and earn very little. I have a set of rules that I don't bargain with small roadside shops. On Diwali they were selling 100 diyas for 150 rupees I bought it for 500 rupees and the old lady was happy she blessed me it warms your heart

On the present date juli is an Indian citizen and even an internet influencer, I am very sure that people out of India are even watching her vlogs and when she is accusing everyone for scanning "this send's a very negative image to the world that India is not safe for foreign tourists" and this is just damaging India's image at the world level. I do agree with the fact that a very small percentage of venders can charge more, but this don't mean that every one is doing the same. Julie, it's always a good idea to keep some rupees in purse for temples, in your case you could have gone back from car with some money before heading out to home. We pay 15%-25% as tips when demanded by English LAW practicing eateries & many other service providers but refrain from donating anything to the temple where it's not demanded of you but rather depend on your courtesy! I fully agree Juli's behaviour in the video was wrong. But she was not like this earlier with shopkeepers. She gave whatever price they said... then everyone, including Her house maid, her friend Payel, Payel's mother started making fun of her - "you are foreigner, so they fool you"... this changed this girl's behaviour but I do agree she went too far and now she should introspect what is right... :)

Juli Madam make some respect those street vendors....if someone has told u that in India beware of all those street vendors because they charge too high prices from foreign visitors...but on the Other side you also has to learned more about Indian Culture...all persons are not same...and Someone words whoever said to you are not fit in all conditions.....so please remember this...This is OUR India...we respect all over the world by our deep heart and welcome everyone to visit and stay in India because we Indians has a huge courage to settledown in all Situation..Jai Hind..
