A professional mua would never use products straight from the tube, they would use a disposable spooly or lip brush, and brushes and sponges would be cleaned and sterilised. Her hygiene standards were zero. You're one brave lady Julia 💙

I will never understand how you, or the other women that go to worst ranked makeup artists, don’t say, “No, it looks horrible and you were extremely unsanitary!” Even if you just said it sometimes. These women think they did a great job so they’ll never learn that they didn’t. Someone is going to go in to get a professional makeup application and be devastated! I understand this is your job but telling them you love your makeup helps no one! I still love watching your videos, I just wish you would be honest sometimes.

The thing is, these people aren't artists. They don't have a technical artistic skill in their bodies. They are just as qualified as the dudes who run the local convenience or liquor stores. These people just opted when they immigrated over to do a beauty salon when the govt sponsored them as refugees to gain citizenship by starting a business. They're just playing around at this point doing peoples makeup. They don't understand colors, shading, brush control of basic visual art let alone cosmetology. They should've just opted to run a kebab shop. For instance at 7:43-7:55 she has no educated critique to give, and just walks away to mop or whatever she did. This is a business to them, not a craft.

I am so sensitive to smells but I could never bring myself to say anything..just avoided him. No matter how bad the makeup is you still pull it off because you are just that pretty!

Lol. Those little buggers are great for getting glitter or wetted shimmers/foils onto eyelids with minimal fallout. That’s about the only thing. I’ve learned to stash them away for that sole purpose.

Yes, the eyes are ...a look! But did you see how filthy that sponge was? It looked like something you'd find in a garage for cleaning chemicals off the floor! I don't know how you do it, I'm so germ phobic! A sponge should be brand new to use with a client and either given to them to take away or disposed of. They can't be cleaned like brushes can (mot that any of these people clean their kit brushes). I hated the lips too. That darker lip liner trend wasn't cute in the 90s! Lol I'd love to know what you ask for before they do your makeup. On the plus side... despite her scalping you, your hair did look good.
