I write to mom/dad and then for the gifts that are for my side, I say “from my name and then my husbands name.” For my husband’s side, I write from “my husbands name and then my name” to keep gifts straight.

I have a few ideas for the in laws and wrapping their gifts! I always write to mom or to dad and I put a little star on their gift and that indicates it’s either in laws or your own parents, whatever works for you. We also have 2 Christmas trees in our house so I keep my families gifts under one tree and my husbands families gifts under the other that way I can grab all the gifts and take them at once! For the glitter paper, I always use double sided tape and stick it to the box, then the underside/flat side so that it will hold!

For gifts to parents I always write the name of the child first. Mine then my fiancés name for my parents/my fiancés name then mine for his parents 😊

There is this wrapping paper cutter that you put on the roll and it cuts it neatly for you

I’ve used the glittery wrapping paper a few times. The best way is to roll the tape in a circle, sticky side out and tape it from underneath. You can fold the bottom piece just a bit so it has regular paper to grip onto. It’s a bit time consuming, but it won’t pop apart 800 times. ❤

Also… I don’t have this issue, but for tagging the parents, maybe when writing from, write your name first for your parents, and husband’s name first for his parents.

If I'm gifting my in-laws, I just have my husband write the gift tag! It takes out any awkwardness, plus his handwriting is so much different from mine that the gifts can easily be distinguished. Merry Christmas! 🎄

I lucked out when it comes to gifts because my whole family calls me "Kaitlyn," but all of my in-laws call me "Kait". So I can write "To: Mom, From: Nick and Kait" or "To: Mom, From: Nick and Kaitlyn" and I'll always know who is who! So if your family calls you a certain nickname, or if your in-laws do, you can always write that on the package!
